Four of us had a great three day fishing experience at Fireweed Lodge. Chace, Josh , and the whole staff were all excellent, friendly, and very accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the food was great! Our guide Josh worked hard and got us on a lot of fish, and we had a blast. I would highly recommend Fireweed, and hope to be back soon. A great place!

Heard many great stories from avid fishermen about Fireweed Lodge. Just finished a 4 night - 3 day fishing trip at Fireweed. Fishing was absolutely amazing, catching limits of beautiful Salmon, Bass and Halibut! Our guide “Adam” was very friendly, polite and worked very hard to make our fishing experience a top priority.||Family owned, Josh & Chase were very kind, as if we had been friends for years. The lodge is beautiful, rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the food is absolutely outstanding!||I’ve been fishing for years and even fished another lodge in Alaska before learning about Fireweed. Fireweed is top notch and absolutely dwarfed the other lodge in every capacity. So much so, my group has already reserved a spot at Firweed for next year!||Well done Josh & Chase, thanks to you and entire staff for a great time!

Once you are there everything is taken care of. Fishing license, boats, fishing gear (including slickers), rooms and really good food. Chance and Josh are such wonderful hosts. Their lodge feels like an Alaskan adventure outpost with all the comforts of home. Their fishing guides, fish cleaning team and packaging process is very well organized and efficient. Already planning another trip next year. Ps caught lots of fish.

Fireweed Lodge is absolutely top-notch. I've done a similar trip at another place called Waterfall Resort, which was decent, but this place, in my opinion, is superior on every level. The layout of the resort is ideal, everything you need is right there and the facility meticulously maintained. The food is excellent, especially the desserts. The rooms are clean and beds nice and comfortable. Having Cable TV and fridge in the rooms was nice for the evenings after fishing. We also really enjoyed the firepit during downtime. The boats were in good condition and our guide was amazing. We caught lots of fish and had tons of fun doing it. Lastly, this is a family-owned, family-operated small business. The owners Chace and Josh are good, hardworking people and I like supporting this type of business whenever I can. I highly recommend Fireweed Lodge. We are already booked to go again next year!

This was an awesome trip. I am not a fisherman but we wanted to try something for our 50th anniversary. We ended up postponing for a year. We brought home on the plane 100 pounds of salmon, halibut, and cod. Chace and Josh and their kids were awesome hosts. The whole staff was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. We went to breakfast at 5am then packed lunches for the boat. We were on the boats by 6am. It was hard work I had quite a few bruises but it was worth it. Dinner was excellent. Dungeness crab claws everynight, salad bar, entrees, and dessert. We hiked in the woods, went to a totem pole park. It was fun filled and excited. We will be back in 2026!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Fireweed Lodge, and it’s a trip we’ll never forget! From the moment we arrived, Chace and Josh, along with their incredible staff, made us feel right at home. The hospitality was top-notch, and every detail was taken care of with such care and attention.

I've been. Fishing with Fireweed for many years. I'm 82 and will be back next year. The experience is unforgettable! Wildlife includes many Bald Eagles, whales, sea otters, bears, and, of course lots of fish. Food prepared by chef Donny and his crew is scrumptious after a day of fishing. The lodge is very comfortable and warm. The rooms a modern and well appointed. But best of all is the wonderful hospitality and friendship I have enjoyed throughout the years with the Anderson Family.
