The staff were very welcoming and truly cared about my stay. It was nice to be treated like a person and not just a number. My experience here was great. So much so, I stayed an additional night.
The room was very clean! The staff was courteous, the bed was very comfortable. Kudos to the restaurant staff as well. They were are all very friendly and welcoming.

Very comfortable room and bed. Was there for two nights. Bed was really nice. Smart TV, coffee and plenty of hot water. Would gladly stay there again. Quiet and close to the downtown area, grocery store and restaurant. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Friendly staff and nice room with everything you need. Room was clean and well stocked. Fridge, Keurig with Starbucks coffee, Free good WIFI, etc. Great location- walk to everywhere and good pizza next door at the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed with them many times and I highly recommend their property. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent. During my recent stay my son left his computer charger and they mailed it to me promptly. This is the first time I have ever gotten something back after leaving it in a hotel room. I have probably left dozens of items in various hotels over the years and when I call I am always told they did not find it. I am delighted that wasn’t the case with this hotel. Excellent, honest customer service lives here.

This was our first visit to Skagway, and we chose the Morningwood Hotel based on their reviews. We were not disappointed! The staff is helpful and friendly, the beds are comfy and the linens and towels are great quality. Most importantly, the location is perfect! We are less than 2 blocks from the busy downtown, so we could enjoy the peaceful porch area until we were ready to walk to town for dinner.|We also took advantage of both the Station (which is on the hotel property) for a yummy pizza, and the Happy Endings Salloon for a cocktail.|We had a great stay at the Morningwood, and highly recommend staying there!

Great place to stay any time of the year. The rooms are cozy, service is great, and the location is hard to beat. Right next door to the station, which is great. Near the stores without being in the middle of traffic from the boats.

Friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, and great location. I have stayed here many times and highly recommend this property. After my most recent stay my son left his computer charger and they mailed it to me promptly. Overall, an adequate place to stay. Room was large, had a nice coffee maker. Sinks were outside toilet and shower. One thing I found annoying was that the toilet did not have a seat cover ... looks 'cheap' and a bit unhygienic. Please get that fixed. A bit on the $$$$ side but it is Skagway and not many options.
