Came here recently and got seats at the bar. Food was pretty good—would recommend the Crab and Artichoke Dip, Alaskan Chowder and Halibut Fish & Chips! Also got pitchers of the Alaskans IPA and Whipsaw Spruce Ale beers—both good but I liked the IPA one better. Service was great—food came out fairly quick and our server/bartender was friendly and attentive.

Fairly spacious restaurant—there’s not a lot of food options in the town but this one seemed the most popping and had an energetic vibe so we decided to try here!

Me and my friend ordered a burger and a salmon sandwich. The food was amazing and yummy very good beef and fresh salmon. Also, draft Alaskan beers perfectly match! And the staff was kind and very helpful. I recommend this restaurant to you guys!

The menu looked great so my mom and I decided to try out the restaurant. Not sure why this place has so many stars. I ordered a sandwich with a side salad. The cucumbers on top of my salad were rotten. On top of my salad. So easily noticed and it still made its way to me. The server apologised but did not ask if I wanted another one, but did make sure to inform the kitchen. The sandwich was decent. My mom got the fish and chips and we were disappointed when she got 4 small pieces of fish that were smaller than fish sticks and overcooked. Living on the west coast and used to good fish and chips, this was a huge disappointment. We found the meals were over priced for the quality. The atmosphere was decent and they did have a high turn over of tables, so we received a table pretty quick.

The bonanza burger was good but it was a 1/3 # and I usually have trouble choking it down but this might have been short. Tasted good but I asked for medium and it was more towards well. The fries were first class, crispy. Music was a little loud for a lunch crowd fresh of the 🚢 boat.

It looked promising but I really don't care for blasting music during lunch. We had a nice but new server (she told us this). She left us with menus but never looked at us for a good 5 minutes. She stayed at the bar talking to someone. When she finally came to our table I told her she should check her tables more often. This apparently upset her because she stopped being our server after that. Oh well. Had burger and fish/chips. Okay food, loud music and the evil eye from the bartender; take your chances on this one.

Food was a bit expensive, but the wagyu beef was awesome!
We were asked to sit in the back due to our group size of six, although no one sat at the table we first chose while we were there....
Our service was good and, as mentioned above, the food was very good.
Our bill was automatically charged 18% gratuity due to having 6 people sitting together with 2 separate bills.
Music was at a normal level for us at lunchtime. We were here as a cruise stop with Carnival.

We were late, and the kitchen was closed.
We were fine by that. We were aiming for drinks anyway.
We were sitting by the bar welcomed by the local patrons while bartenders busied serving other regulars.

It was loud. It was vibrant! People were having a great time cheering, shouting, taking shots and sharing stories.

Alaskans were happy to see their “brothers and sisters “from Whitehorse and we were happy to finally be in Skagway after a long three years.

Great vibe!
