This was a perfect Alaska fishing day with our family. We will have memories for a lifetime. The boat was parked right next to our cruise ship, and everything was ready to go for our family of six. Our captain was amazing! We all caught a king salmon and some halibut. My son caught a HUGE halibut that was over 100 pounds. Dreams came true that day. My girls had an amazing time, and the automatic reels made it easier for them to bring in those big old fish! We even saw whales while we were fishing. It was a beautiful day, and our freezer is full! Thanks for the 5-star experience!

I had the incredible pleasure to join friends and go fishing with hands down the best charter boat captain in Sitka.
Jackson was so knowledgeable about individual fish and locations to drop our lines. His expertness was second only to the great care and encouragement he gave to us as novice fishermen. We loaded the boat with halibut, kings and rockfish for two days. One of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Thank you Jackson and team.

From the moment I called and spoke to Nikki to our last day with Captain Jack, this was the best experience we could have asked for. We fished for two days with Captain Jack and we caught salmon, rock fish, and halibut. Worth every dollar. Nikki is the sweetest and makes sure you have all the information you need. Jack is such a good time on the water and does everything he can to get you fish! We will be returning!

This was my second trip to Sitka to fish and our first time fishing with Sitka Fishing Excursions. This family operated business is amazing.

Communicative, responsive, transparent and HARD WORKING.

They have the nicest boat in Sitka, which was perfect for my parents who have never been charter fishing before. The indoor heated cabin as well as the walk-around fishing deck was perfect for the 4 of us to maneuver about freely, take photos, and enjoy the catered lunch.

The boat captain was knowledgeable, friendly, sociable, attentive, and put us on the fish. We caught our limit throughout the day and they have an awesome, hassle-free connection to have your fish processed and delivered to you at the airport upon departure.

10/10, highly recommended, worth every penny. Don’t hesitate to book a charter with Sitka Fishing Excursions!

I will undoubtedly book with them again the next time I’m in Sitka!

Fishing in Sitka is a big deal. I found a customer friendly charter with Sitka Fishing Excursions. The experience was far beyond expectations. Captain Lucas works hard for everyone aboard. We were treated to a wealth of Salmon.

Amazing day of fishing with Sitka Fishing Excursions. Our guide Lucas picked us up at the cruise dock just as we arrived and headed out to the ocean. After a couple hours we had our limit of halibut and a couple rock fish. We actually had to release a couple very large halibut that were just short of the 80” requirement. Then we were off to the inland waters to fish for salmon. Another couple hours later we had our limit, two very large kings and a few nice Coho. Lucas arranged for processing and shipping and had us back on the dock by 3:00 pm. Nicki was great to work with throughout the planning process. Can’t recommend these people highly enough.

Jackson was just the nicest guy! What a great guide & just a great person to spend the day with in general. He is so patient & friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. The checklist we were provided was very thorough. His wife called us back in a timely manner & booking was very easy. We caught a great deal of fish & he handled getting them to the processing place to be fileted, packaged, labeled, & flash frozen for shipping home to Texas. His boat was so nice & clean & comfortable as well! We will absolutely be booking Jackson again if we ever get back to Sitka & very highly recommend him to others.
