Bearpaw Charters is an amazing way to explore. Crystal and Captain Billy provide awesome hospitality, great food and knowledgeable expertise about the local sights, attractions and nature. The Bearpaw boat is beautiful, with a cozy stateroom and super comfortable bedrooms. It’s such a special and unique way to travel and see the world - we toured the San Juan islands and islands around Vancouver.

We had a travel disruption and needed to find an alternative trip. I called Chrystal from Bear Paw and she immediately jumped into action and took care of everything. we spent a lovely long weekend on the Bear Paw in the San Juan Islands and Friday Harbor being catered to by these wonderful people. They have so much knowledge of the area having spent years in the local marine business. The ship is beautiful, such a unique vessel. Our stateroom was roomy and comfortable and we had the whole yacht to ourselves. What a luxury. We slept so well in the peace and quiet and gentle rocking The food was amazing, and we loved hearing all the stories of the area. This is a perfect getaway for a special occasion or girl's trip. We already booked another trip with them in July on one of their Alaskan voyages and we can't wait!!

Not just a dinner or excursion but an experience!

Amazing! We went on a sunset whale watching cruise and it did not disappoint! Bear Paw is a gorgeous yacht! Captain Bill brought us right to the whales. They were so close, on every side of the boat! We had a wonderful experience!

In August we had dinner on the Bear Paw in Sitka, AK. Dinner was phenomenal! Even better were the tales Bill and Chrystal had of their travels. They are such an entertaining and kind couple. The Bear Paw was a pristine vessel. Everything on the vessel was impressive. I hope to go again and enjoy the sights. Don’t miss an opportunity to go aboard!

OMG - trip of a lifetime! Worth every penny.
1st - the personalization of the trip was superb. The captains (Chrystal & Bill) took into account everything, and they remembered more than what we had listed on our preference sheet. We saw all the incredible beauty that is Alaska. Scenery and wildlife (up close and personal)! Glaciers, icebergs, eagles, sea lions, seals, humpback whales, orca (killer) whales, moose, black bear, brown bear, deer....
2nd - 4-5 star meals...every meal... all week long. Variety, freshness. Lovely dining area or there's always the firepit (yep, a firepit) on the upper deck to enjoy your meal with a view.
3rd - Staterooms are roomy and comfortable.

Chrystal and Bill are lovely. They're down-to-earth, friendly and always up for a lot of fun. Their knowledge of the area, wildlife, etc. is wonderful. We fished, crabbed, harvested ice.

This is so much better than a cruise with 2000 of your best friends. On the cruises, you don't get within a football field of a glacier, within 40ft of bears (we were on a small boat, they were on shore), get to visit natural hot springs, and MORE!.

Thank you, Chrystal & Bill - this was a spectacular vacation.

Stunning boat. Accommodations are amazing. Best bed and pillows I've slept on. You feel like you are in a house, comfortable, warm and relaxed.
