This place seriously needs to change the name because I thought I got the hotel extended stay fairbanks and was disappointed when we drove into a neighborhood. This place calls it a few different names. The place was dirty, lady insisted on a larger room which was dirty. I felt so disgustingly dirty during my stay and when I left. I had to take another shower right away when we got to our better hotel. The breakfast room was filthy and cheap! I didn't eat and that's what I look forward to when I stay at a hotel. There was a bug in the bed and one of the beds looked like it had been slept in and blankets and sheets weren't made. The floor wasn't even mopped and I highly don't recommend this place at all!

The gift that keeps on giving. My review isn't because of the original price nor accommodations. It is because of the profound disingenuous motels marketing and management. I have visited Fairbanks yearly. Normally stay at Extended Stay America Fairbanks. Last July, after paying in advance to Expedia in June, we arrived at the Extended Stay America and the professional manager at the front desk apologized that they had NO reservation for us, but said we had probably been fooled by Extended Stay Fairbanks which was using a similar name to mislead guests and that they had such problems frequently, but were powerless to do anything about the situation. See the previous review. I did charge the reservation back to Expedia as the manager at the Fairbanks Extended Stay hotel did indicate they had rented the rooms when I called the next day. Then as a CEO I learned another intriguing lesson. I charged back the cost to American Express. They credited my account. THEN, the hotel took exception to the charge back through Expedia giving a false and different explanation from their earlier communication. Expedia then refused to accept the American Express charge back and demanded it be reversed. I was most confused as to how they could do that? American Express explained that Expedia is such a huge account for them that their contract gives Expedia full permission to charge back at will and there is no recourse. Expedia's position was that it was simply he said/she said so they were not going to deal with it.|American Express did provide a credit for half of the cost as a courtesy (I'm a Black Card Centurion Member). So: lesson learned; be much more attentive when I make reservations (geez, after visiting 100 countries you'd think I knew this ). Never use Expedia as they are so huge they can blow you off without a second thought. BTW, if you Google Earth for the Fairbanks Extended Stay you'll find it is a residential family compound in a residential, not business neighborhood. Quite a surprise when you arrive.

Paid for two rooms in advance in June through Expedia. Arrived at 11PM and the rooms were not available, nor was there anyone available to discuss the situation with. Hotel told Expedia the next day that since we arrived late without notice they could rent the rooms to others AND they would not refund our charges. I'll charge back through American Express. Interesting also is the "hotel" - its not. It is a family compound in a residential neighborhood. Much more could be said, but if there were any pictures posted, the reader would understand the 0 star rating immediately.

Awful hotel. Under construction , not physically located as listed or Described. 3-4 different names doing business so when booking it’s extended stay Fairbanks, when looking up the address it’s called seven gables Inn when you check in the contract has another (forgotten) name and the associated name with similar address is called abbeys archway inn. Very scary, shady, bad part of town. Do not stay here
