Our family of 9 spent a week at the Anglers Getaway, we were so pleased with the facilities! We all had plenty of space and so many extras! 2 washer/dryers, fully stocked kitchens, plenty of extra towels and blankets, Wi-Fi, everything that we needed…it felt like being at home, but it was located on the beautiful Kenai River! So peaceful, with a spacious deck to sit and enjoy the beauty of Alaska! Outdoor grill and fish cleaning right on the river. Our only regret was that we had to leave!

It’s location is a bit of a drive, and currently there is road construction, but we’ll worth the effort to have a beautiful, peaceful, private place to enjoy. The owners have truly thought of everything to meet your needs.

I had a wonderful experience and stay at this fabulous lodge located on the beautiful Kenai River! The hostess was so helpful, gracious, and made sure all our needs were met. The food was absolutely outstanding with three balanced and delicious meals served each day. The facility itself sits right on the aqua water and I stayed in the "Burl House" in a quiet and comfortable room with a deck overlooking the river below. A campfire in the evening with an eagle flying overhead was the perfect end to a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway of peace and tranquility off the beaten track!

All inclusive, full service lodge with local, knowledgeable, attentive staff, rockin' awesome fresh food - all of my needs were met! The weather was absolutely fabulous, the setting serene and peaceful. The rooms were clean and newly remodeled. The bed was very comfortable, and there are plenty of bathrooms to accommodate an all ladies' retreat! Only 40 minutes to downtown Soldotna for all necessary vacation shopping needs. Beautiful mountain views on the road to/from the lodge - a true Angler's Getaway! I would love to go back later in the summer when the fish are in! THANKS Mary & Valerie!

Beautiful, huge resort with dock right on the Kenai River. Two bald eagles nesting there were magnificent mascots who visited daily. Excellent fishing, caught my first fish ever! Close enough for day trips to Seward for a day cruise, Homer for shopping and sightseeing, and Anchor Point for deep sea fishing. Lodge was roomy, comfortably appointed with all the amenities one could want. This would be my first choice for a return visit.

I could not have asked for a more beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to be. The lodge was simply gorgeous and the service top notch. Meals were delicious, healthy and filling. All the beauties of nature wrapped around you. The staff were attentive and all my needs were met. I could not have asked for better weather, the sound of the river flowing at my feet. This is the place that you can reconnect with your soul. .
