This was a very clean and homey place. The room was beautiful with a king sized bed, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and shower and a nice large sink are. |The Deal’s were very friendly and accommodating. |Breakfast had many options from scrambled eggs and sausage, fruit, danish, toast, dry cereal, juices, coffee and tea. |It was very convenient to the Anchorage Airport. |Mrs. Deal gave us a map and great ideas of places to visit. |I highly recommend!

Our party of 4 stayed at Deal’s B&B for a night en route to Whittier to board our cruise.

We had the family suite which had a full adjoining washroom with a King Bed and 2 Single Beds on each side. Perfect for the 4 of us!

The complimentary breakfast spread was awesome! Scrambled eggs with cheese, rice, sausages, chocolate croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruits, cereals, toast, and fresh coffee.

A much better alternative to hotels or airbnbs, a short 5 minute drive to the airport and many restaurants within a short walking 15-20 minute distance.

Would recommend for anyone needing a clean safe place to stay while in Anchorage 😊

Let’s start with the positive: very comfortable bed, clean room with nice oversize bathroom towels. ||As far as what merits an average review: we did not receive any communication (we used hotels.com, so that might be a factor) and were unsure of how it all worked. We had a one night stay and caught an early train so we missed breakfast (that’s on us). The other reviews say breakfast is great. ||When we arrived we were greeted by an older gentleman who didn’t introduce himself (he was one of the proprietors) and was indifferent at best, straight-up rude at his worst. We couldn’t have felt more unwelcome. Talking to us seemed to be a bother. ||The B & B is described as “grandma’s house” and that’s true. Personally it felt like staying st a relative’s house we didn’t know. It felt outdated and cluttered. This is my personal preference as I like a more contemporary, minimalist environment. Would have been nice to have USB outlets too.||After a night in Seward we reserved elsewhere for the rest of our stay and I’m so glad we did. We would not consider this establishment again.

Great place. Had our own room, bathroom and a great deck right off room. Owners are wonderful. Breakfast was very good and had a great variety. You must ask the owners how they ended up in Alaska... great story!

Deal's Bed & Breakfast was a wonderful place to stay in Anchorage. I've seen the b&b described as " staying at grandmas house"; it is and better. So warm and cozy, the B&B was a welcome home at the end of a long plane flight. |The owners accommodated our late arrival and departure without issue. The room was big, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom had a tremendous tub and separate shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and of course hand cooked with care and to our liking. The owners are lovely people. |Without hesitation, Deal's is highly recommended.

In October of 2023, we took a girls trip and stayed at Deal's B & B. We arrived early and was able to check in (as requested). We had reserved a suite for the 3 of us, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. No problem, the owner gave us a choice of 2 separate rooms. I got my own room, and my friends shared the other room. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. My room had access to a deck. Breakfast was wonderful and filling. We were treated to local breakfast meats (elk, moose) and jellies. A good variety of breakfast items. The location is ideal and close to the airport. A bus stop is 1/2 a block away and easy to navigate. The owners are nice, friendly, and like family. There were other guests staying there, and we shared information and adventures. House is safe and secure. I highly recommend this place.

We had such a lovely time at Deal’s Bed & Breakfast!! We were in a pinch and needed to find a hotel last minute late at night, and were so grateful to get in on short notice/ to find this gem. Cozy room, with very cute decor—our room had lots of photos of ducks, which I love! In the morning breakfast was delicious, and enjoyed getting to chat with other guests. Cathryn was so kind and helpful, and gave us recommendations for things to do while we’re in Anchorage. Thank you Deals B&B, for a wonderful stay!!!

My wife and I recommend Deal’s Bed & Breakfast.

We stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Deal three times for a total of seven nights in two different King rooms during our two-week trip to Alaska.

Deal's was our Alaska home base for touring Anchorage, interspersed by trips to Fairbanks and Seward. The Deals were flexible and easy-going. Early departures and late arrivals were no problem. They let us leave a suitcase with them during our side trips. A transit bus stop is nearby. The neighborhood is quiet.

The breakfast smorgasbord typically included sausage and eggs, potatoes, cold cereals, fruits, pastries, fruit juice, milk … and on and on. Breakfast hours were reasonable.

The home was enlarged and customized to be a B&B. It seemed to have five guest rooms, each with a private bath. The decor harkens to the 1980s and features an extensive collection of pressed art glass throughout the house. The Deals have lived here for decades, and their home is a lovely reflection of their lives and their family.

The human comforts — towels, beds and linens — are premium. The towels were downright luxurious.

The back yard has a nice deck when the weather is suitable.

We strongly recommend.
