Lots are spacious, the managers have been good to work with. My only issue is they don't allow you to use the restrooms and showers in the winter time.

This is one of the nicest KOAs I have camped at. I read some really negative reviews of this place before it became a KOA, but clearly whoever purchased it for the KOA franchise has made some very nice improvements. We camped on site 26. The electric pedestal was in good working order. The bathrooms were recently tastefully updated and the showers were clean. The laundry room was also clean and the staff was attentive to an issue with one washing machine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offer a dump station and propane as well as a large covered pavilion (which allows campers to be outside but under cover on the many rainy days Alaska has). The location is near the highway and was a bit noisy, but the flip side of location is that it is very convenient to Palmer and Wasilla and is great for folks who want to get on the road to another destination without driving through a lot of traffic lights in town. It is also very near a hospital, should an emergent situation arise. I highly recommend this KOA for upholding the standards we expect in a KOA.

We camped at this RV park in our pop up pickup camper. The grassy area where we parked was so nice & we weren’t stuffed in right next to the adjacent site. The bathroom & shower rooms were very clean. The office girl was very kind & helpful when I made our reservation over the phone. We had a quiet nights sleep.

Stayed for 3 weeks and would definitely stay there again. The park is very nicely maintained. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry are very clean!! Lots of grass for the fur babies & a nice play area for the kiddos. The Koa workers are always out working and making improvements . Thanks , Ginger, James & Allison and the lady that drives the tractor like she stole it!! ( sorry! Didn’t get her name but she did a great job ) for making our stay pleasant!!!

The tent site is nothing but muddy ground. No electric as advertised, not even a site number! Solid proof from drone view and ground view photos attached.
Update: I know the merchant trying to make it seem like this is just a misunderstanding, but it's not—stop lying! They assigned us site number 21, which is in the upper right corner of both the map and the parking permit. The number 21 site is marked on the large X, not the small X. So, they intentionally assigned us the site on the muddy ground; this is NOT a misunderstanding!

We had an excellent 3 day stay here. Bad weather in the Denali area (snow in June!) got us here a day early and they easily accommodated us. Showers/bathrooms are super clean. The grassy areas are well maintained. We loved our area with w/e/sewer. It was quiet and easy to get in and out of this section. We would stay again!

We stayed there for the winter 2023 before leaving to go to the lower 48. Their website stated 700 for the month plus electricity. When we went to reserve our spot they raised it to 950 a month not including electric. Fine we dealt with it. We were not allowed to use the showers since we had water hookup. But the maintenance person and whom ever visited was allowed to. The laundry facility stated it was closed for cleaning 12-2 daily . The laundry room garbage was always over flowing at that time there was only 5 campers there. They were allowing people from outside the park to do laundry there. If it snowed nothing was plowed for a couple days and then you had to re dig yourself out because they would plow you back in. Also I always had to shovel out the entrance door just to do laundry. They would never answer the phone and they definitely do not have 24 hour maintenance. The dryers some how turned a lot of clothes black speckled grease all over so very frustrating. This was the worst experience for my family. Also NO military discount at all . Hopefully my review was helpful I was informed by another person camping for the winter this was his worst experience. O they also have a $50 clean up fee for pet owners but there was so much dog poop all over from the maintenance guys dog who freely went everywhere. We also got to witness them chasing a mother moose and her baby out of the park that were eating and then started throwing things at them. Which is highly against the law. Stayers beware just because it says KOA does not mean it is clean.
