The food is free for oilfield workers. 3 meals a day. Solo rooms w/ private bathroom and shower. Heater in room with single window. Bed is twin size. Only big enough for one person. May want to consider bringing a small fan and/or heated blanket. Free laundry on every floor. A sauna and weight room. It's pretty clean too. Modern decor. The vegetables aren't very fresh but it's free. The cafeteria has hot coffee. They also provide free lunch you pack yourself for work. (Usually pack in the morning while having breakfast) bring lunch box for work. you can connect ps5 or Xbox via hdmi with free WiFi. Not alot of storage in the rooms so only bring essentials. They have a small store attached in the hotel where they sell roughly 30 differentt items. Mostly tobacco products, drinks (dry hotel), and clothing items. (Few chargers and minimal hygiene) there's another more traditional store called Brooke's about 2 miles away. Parking is usually available but wildlife can run up on ya. Keep your head on a swivel when entering and exiting the vehicle. Staff is friendly and they have a shuttle for airport runs. This is probably the best/newest hotel in the remote arctic tundra. Hot showers in your room, most others are shared. Good luck to ya and git r done.

Very comfortable beds! All food comes with the room, which includes a 24 hour, all you can eat snack shop. The hotel is primarily used to house workers for the camp, but they welcome visitors. It felt like an extended stay resort at the end of the world. Highly recommended when making the trek all the way north!

Very nice hotel in a cold, wet, muddy place. The hotel is all inclusive in that all meals are included in the rate. It caters primarily to oilfield workers and has a nice cafeteria and workout room. Most oil field work takes place in the winter, so the hotel has lots of rooms available in the summer. Staff was friendly and helpful. The gal at the front desk was great. WiFi was excellent. The room was small, but nicely appointed, including a table as a workspace. Good shower and hot water. I would stay here again.

Great place to rest and clean up after several days on the tundra hunting. We were able to eat well and wash our clothes. The stay allowed us to rest up and get back to hunting refreshed. Great service made us feel welcome and it was kinda hard to leave the comfort. Yes it is expensive, but it is Alaska, worth every penny.

Food is terrible, it's like pulling teeth to get a washcloth or towel. Aurora has jack n jill bathrooms and the AOH has in room showers but that is the only good thing about it. The food at AOH will certainly have you using those bathrooms!

We were so impressed with the AOH. This is a 5 star "man camp". Great customer service. EVERY staff member greeted us and treated us as valued guests. The entire hotel is super clean. When you enter there are booties to put over your shoes so no outside dirt gets on the floors. And you wear rubber gloves to access your food in the dining room. This avoids contamination and keeps everyone healthy. Our grandson loved the 24 hour snack bar and gaming room. All food is included with the price of your stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

had no expectations coming up to stay in deadhorse but this hotel is freakin awesome. they have an amazing cafeteria style dining hall with great food and tons of options and 24 hour snack shop open all included. and fun games rooms and activities and lounge/cafe and fitness centers. they also got a realy nice sauna! on top of it all the staff is great and super helpful !

It is The BEST accommodations that I have seen and I’ve stayed in five camps at least a week each and visited many other camps to eat.

The A. O. H. is an actual hotel with many amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are always clean and private in room bathroom and TV.
