Jammel has been extremely helpful and attentive! I am very lucky to have found this diamond! If I could give 6⭐️ I would give 7! The house is in the perfect location, close to Eielson AFB. It is secluded. Quiet. Comfortable while still being roomy. Extra clean. The fireplace warms up the entire living area and kitchen. The pool table is awesome. I have zero complaints and could rave on about all the positives!

My friends and I all miss the 3 Dog Night Hostel after we left very much. This was my first hostel experience. I didn't have any expectation at beginning, I thought as long as it's ok, I'll be fine. But this place was more than OK, it was so much better than any hotels that I've ever stayed. After we checked in, the house was very spacious and clean, we could use the kitchen to cook our own food and they had most of the ingredients and kitchen stuffs. The owner Mike makes us feel like home, he always gives us kind advices and recommendations about the local activities, most importantly, he was our aurora adviser. Every night he showed us the map and where is the best place to see the northern lights. We miss this place. I highly recommend anyone who wants to have a pleasant trip choose this hostel.

My girlfriend and I spent one night in one of their private rooms with shared bathroom. The price, $85/night, is very reasonable regarding what I have. The room we stayed is very spacious and bright. Bathroom is very clean. The other utilities include a living room and kitchen. Living room is also spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen is very clean and well equipped. They also provide all kinds of spices they can think of. I believe you can even make a cake if you want. If you are here for aurora, there is an open ground behind the house. We were very luck to see aurora during my stay.||The owner, Mike, is a very nice person and tries his best to make my stay comfortable. We love this place and their dogs. We will definitely come back if we visit Fairbanks next time.

I stayed in this hostel in June. It was very hot and therefore I spent quite a lot of time indoors, rather than out with the dogs. I was in an immaculate female only dorm, with very comfy beds. The bathroom was always clean. The kitchen had the usual equipment. ||It is possible to get the Black line bus from Fairbanks bus station out to a shop a few miles away from the hostel (The Knotty Shop) and I arranged pick up from there. It is sensible to bring provisions with you if you don't have a car, as the Knotty Shop is a gift shop (with great icecream!) and the local store is quite a way away.||The owners were always very helpful in our interactions and they let me help feed the sled dogs one evening.||This is a nice place to rest up, read some books and watch a bit of TV. It would be fun to return one day in the snow and go out with the dogs.

My friend and I had stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. We originally booked a log cabin equipped with wood fire, but the hostel seemed very cozy and nice so we moved to hostel instead. The full kitchen and some breakfast food is always available, the living room had a beautiful tree, comfortable couch and nice TV. We walked the dogs and built snow house during day and played board games at night waiting for aurora. If you are planning for a relaxing vacation surrounded by beautiful scenery, this is IT! : )

My friends and I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well equipped.||The hostel owner Mike is nice and helpful. He answered all of our questions patiently and shared very useful information about aurora viewing. The last night we stayed there, Mike found a flat tire of our rental SUV and helped us to fix it. He is the best hostel owner I ever met !

This is an awesome hostel. Is kindda hard to find, but if you have a car and gps, it's easy. The place is huge, clean, cozy, warm.. and everything you can ask. Is far from downtown, but there is no light, so is easier to catch an aurora there. The cost is very low for what they offer and Mike is such a kind guy. Love it, hope I can get back there in the future!

My friends and I had an amazing time at 3 Dogs. The property is huge and perfectly located away from the city where you can see the lights literally right in your backyard. The woods are also in the back and there is a trail where you can go out and explore. There is also a dog sledding service that comes right to the property- very convenient! The dog sled tour takes you onto the aforementioned trail for 6 miles and was worth every penny. The kitchen was well-stocked with ingredients and tools. Mike was an amazing host and very nice to talk to. I wish I didn't have to leave!
