The service was really great! The front desk staff were so nice.
The rooms were very dirty. I was afraid to even give my toddler a bath until I gave the tub a good wipe down. There were splatters of something on the furniture and wall. There were spots of what I hope was just soap along the bath. The bedframe was broken and I hit my toe on the wood shards. The shower curtain rod was broken which made the shower water leak all over the bathroom floor. The tub didn't want to drain. There was hair on the sheets.
The Red Lantern was absolutely amazing. The food was great and the service was wonderful.
You can't beat the price of the rooms for the location and time of year but maybe ask for a set of fresh sheets at check in and bring Clorox wipes.

It is a nice and clean hotel at a fair price. It is much cheaper than Clarion, which is in the same location. ||Breakfast was good: cereal, oatmeal muffins, eggs, potatoes, sausage, coffee, and juice. The beds were comfortable. The gym had functioning equipment and was clean.||Walking distance from downtown restaurants, museums, a cemetery, and shops. ||Late check-in until 6 am in case of flight delays (unlike Clarion, who threatened to make us no-shows for late arrival).

Nice hotel located in downtown Fairbanks near all the restaurants and bars. Consistent house keeping services and they’re quick to accommodate your needs. Breakfast was delicious but not too much variety. Coffeemaker in the rooms needs to be updated but other than that we had an excellent stay!!

The hotel is bigger than I thought. The parking is all around the hotel. The room was a little old but clean and nice and big. The breakfast was good. Really worth the money.

Apparently the maids job is just to walk around not clean because they charge a cleaning fee when I thought that was the maids job. Me and my son was sick for three days could not get out of bed for anything ordering door dash and pizza to feed my boys. I Evan asked my sister to go to the store for me. There were trash that I was going to pick up when I felt better. My son had diarea that morning I grabbed all the sheets that day and put them out the door told the maid who did not look happy about it. What do u want me to do he a kid. I don't usually keep a hotel messy but I had no energy what so ever. I did not stain anything if I did that would make sense

My reservations was for 2 beds. The hotel was full and they only gave us one bed. The person who was ready to check me in - ignored me. But another very happy friendly person took over while the original hotel clerk pretended to be busy. And we were not made aware of the available breakfast. Very disappointed- I may not look like it but I actually graduated from UAF with a BBA and used to enjoy staying at westmark on my visits. When I checked out - I refused to deal with the clerk that originally ignored me.

Our company party and stay was amazing. The food and service great! The only reason I’m leaving a 3 star review is that someone stole my husband’s belt buckle from our room after we had accidentally left it. I called back a few hours later and they said they had no record of it.

We stayed here in August 2024 at the end of a Holland America cruise. We were assigned a room in the south tower, and I think that's where things went down hill. It's in desperate need of a renovation. The carpets in the hallway are dingy and dirty. The rooms are dark and a little dated, but our bed was very comfortable and looked clean. The intake vents were coated with dust. The bathroom was just plain ugly. The enamel is peeling off the bottom of the tub, and the grout looks like a kindergartner was in charge (see photos). If you stay here, request the north tower. It looked like it was newer. It was a little disappointing to end the cruise this way, because the prior rooms in Anchorage and Denali were top notch.
