Spent 4 nights at this hotel on vacation, absolutely delighted with my stay. Had a jacuzzi suite all 4 nights and took advantage of it. Hotel is tucked away on a circle surrounded by trees, very peaceful and quiet. I was happy with the price I paid, especially considering where I was and what I all had in the room.

Staff was pleasant, had zero issues and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again if I’m back in town.

Would never stay or suggest this hotel. We had to switch rooms. The carpet was stained. It was supposed to be an acessible room but that was not the case. It did not have a walk in shower and the tub was very dangerous to get into and out of. You had a very tall step to get over and getting out was even worse as you you had to step down. The room was tiny and you had maybe 6 inches between the bed and the wall. No way you could get there. There was a chair for sitting but it was crammed into the corner so not easy to sit and put on shoes. The walls are very thin for a hotel and you could hear everything being said in the next room! You could also hear people walking around above us which is the first time we have ever experienced this in a hotel. We said we could not stay there after one night and were moved. The second room was a bit larger and the carpet was not stained. In our haste to pack and move so as not to waste the day I left a pillow in the room. When I realized it and asked the desk no one could ever find it? I asked several other times and even spoke to the housekeepers but no one ever saw it so I had to buy another one. With the nice weather we tried to sleep with the window open but the smoking area was too close to the hotel so that was not good. The breakfast was not great by any means. I assume the eggs are precooked and re-heated as was the bacon and sausage so the eggs were rubbery. There was nothing much for gluten free people so I took my own bread to toast. Be sure to take butter to your room for the next day because is frozen hard and you won't be able to spread it. They did do a good job of serving different rubbery eggs each day and different sausages.|Everyone who works there was super friendly and helpful. The location was ok for getting around and on the road to explore further out.

Overall had a good stay. However, had issues with my room rez. Each staff member I dealt with at the time was pleasant and helpful, but then other staff was not made aware of changes to the reservations and this caused confusion & unnecessary time delays. The room we had the 2nd night of our stay had no working deadbolt lock. It was early evening when we reported this and staff could not get a repair made timely and thus discounted our room 10%. They offered to move us to a different room, but we'd already moved rooms once; didn't want to move again. As I stated before, overall it was a good stay. Rooms were clean, and except for the deadbolt issue, in good repair. Felt safe staying at this hotel.

Very nice room. Delicious breakfast buffet. The man that was stocking the food did an excellent job keeping everything full, hot and fresh. This hotel lost a five star review from me because after confirming and being assured by the man who seemed to be in charge of housekeeping that our room would be taken care of while we were out. After returning from our 14 hour northern lights tour and being super tired at 4 am our room was not taken care of. No fresh towels, trash emptied, bed being refreshed and general refresh. We were extremely disappointed in someone that ensured us our room would be taken care of but wasn’t.

Our flight landed late, so we were very much looking forward to checking into the hotel and catching some sleep. Fortunately, this Best Western made it really easy to accomplish these simple tasks. The night staff was friendly and efficient, our room spacious and clean, and most importantly, the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast made it really easy to head out early on our exploration of this part of Alaska.

Positive: The people at the hotel were very helpful!! The breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options, everything was the correct temperature and it was absolutely delicious). I am temporarily disabled. The "handicap" room was great! Negative: Away from shopping. The hotel needs some improvements to the outside (damaged exterior).

Rooms and the pool area is clean, simple hotel with nothing too fancy. They actually keep the pool heated which surprises me. Overall a nice quiet hotel, exceeds expectations for the low end price

Front desk lady was nice.

Only suggestion is maybe new carpet in the rooms or having some kind of hard floor. More of a personal preference than a true complaint.

Stained carpet. Tub did not drain so you had to turn off water to let it drain while you stood there freezing! Sink did not drain properly either. Room very very tight. Only about 6 inches between wall and bed. Chair stuffed in corner making it hard to use. Breakfast food was just precooked and reheated eggs and sausages. No gluten free items so I had to take my own bread. Some sort of clicking sound in walls kept us up. Walls and ceiling very thin so you could hear neighbors talking when we tried to sleep. Could also hear people walking around upstairs which was a first. Tub felt weak if you stood in the center - we were afraid we would fall through. It was supposed to be an accessible room but it was NOT! You had step up over a very tall tub to get in. Getting out was even more dangerous as you had to step up over and DOWN to the floor. The place for smoking was too close to the hotel so we could not open the windows to enjoy the cool night air.
All of the employees were very helpful and friendly.
We had to change rooms and when rushing left my personal pillow in room one and they could never find it so I had to purchase a new one.
