My boyfriend and I had the nicest and most enjoyable time here. The owners and host were extremely nice and friendly. They took care of everything we needed and had many helpful suggestions and tips regarding sights to see and explore. Rich had a delicious breakfast prepared each morning and would cook just about anything you wanted. The house was invitingly comfortable and we felt like we were staying with family by the end of the week. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Anchorage!

I stayed here with my husband and 11 month old. It was a perfect place to stay after our 12 hour train ride from Fairbanks. The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming, and even had a lunch sack for us to grab some breakfast to go when we left early to catch the train to Seward. Except for lunch, we stayed on the property for the day for our little one to rest. They have a beautiful home and property. Pet the horses and go for a nice walk. The shower was amazing. Great water pressure and also the option for a steamed shower was very nice.

One of the nicest B & Bs we've ever stayed in. Located about 20 minutes south of the airport in a nice quiet neighborhood. ||We were warmly welcomed by the owners Jim, his wife Mel and Rich their manager for the property. They gave us valuable suggestions on things to see and do as it was our first trip to Alaska.||We were invited to join them for beers and wine that evening and had a nice chat getting to know them. We felt like we were staying with close friends or relatives. That evening they introduced us to some of the local wildlife living nearby. We saw bald eagles and a moose walking by the road out front. Amazing!||The breakfast prepared by Rich was an amazing spread of bacon,eggs ( made any which way you like ) , sausages, fruit, toast, cereal, pan cakes ,juices , teas and coffee ( Sorry if l left something out. ) It's a great way to start the day.|||The room was plushly furnished and so was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well.||We enjoyed our stay very much and would to come back again. Definitely way better than staying in a hotel. Highly recommended. ||

Absolutely fantastic is the only way to describe it. Great location for independent travelers. Luxurious and very well appointed. Nothing was a trouble. Bobby the young manager is very knowledgeable in local area trails etc. even the recommendations of a place for dinner. They were very happy to make a booking for us at Southside Bistro and we had an amazing meal. Jim, if & when we come back to Anchorage, we will have to shout you a glass or few of red wine. Simply the best

This Bed and Breakfast is outstanding. We were very impressed with our host Bobby. The room we stayed in offered views of the bay and the horse stables. We loved our private jet tub for two as well as the double head shower with built-in steam room. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. I can't say enough about our stay and how we enjoyed it. I could go on and on.

After looking at the accommodations and prices in downtown Anchorage, we found this amazing B&B. All I can say is do yourself a favor and make the short drive out of Downtown Anchorage to this amazing place. The location is fantastic and the house itself is simply stunning with polished hardwood floors, gorgeous decor, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful hanging flower baskets and breathtaking views with expansive balconies where you can take it all in. It's located near Flattop Hiking Trails in Chugach State Park which is a must do (check out the 5 star Tripadvisor reviews). ||||We stayed in the Forget Me Not room for two amazing nights. Jacuzzi soaking tub with wrap around windows to view the wildlife, a steam shower, and luxury bedding (you are NOT going to get that in a downtown hotel room!). We felt sooo pampered. Our in-laws joined us for one night and stayed in the downstairs apartment, which has everything you could need for a longer stay: comfortable and spacious living room, kitchen, luxurious king bed, steam shower, and lots of darkness at night - a particular luxury during the summer months!||||Each morning we descended the stairs to a breakfast served in the expansive wood polished dining area overlooking the organic garden the host and fabulous chef, Rich, maintains for his home cooked breakfasts. Farm fresh scrambled eggs with organic herbs, local reindeer sausage and bacon, homemade banana walnut muffins (absolutely the best I've every had, Mel!), bagels and raisin bread, homemade jams and fresh fruit (including cherries!) Thank you, Rich! Your stories of growing up in Alaska during our wine tasting chats, tips on local restaurants and overall kindness and hospitality made our trip unforgettable.||||Jim and Mel, it was so wonderful to meet both of you. Your home is a luxurious sanctuary in Alaska and one we will return to for a longer stay next time.

Gorgeous B&B located in a quiet neighborhood outside of the hussle of downtown Anchorage yet still close enough that it is convenient. Recommended for a quiet get-away with your partner. Beautifully furnished and great detail work inside make it a great atmosphere to relax and refresh. Bobby was great helping us get situated and the breakfast was perfect! Highly recommended!
