The Old time Alaskan Gold Rush vibe was perfect for this dated but clean hotel. The rooms have been refurbished and have a comfortable bed and nice bright room. I enjoyed the women of the gold rush theme and the historic feel that this hotel has. It’s not bougie or boring… it’s got that Alaskan feel. I’ll be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Nugget!! The new ownership is truly a cinderella story of a group of friends passionate about Nome and its history who are dedicated to bringing the Nougat back to life, with extra touches. The owners and the staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. The bartender makes delicious cocktails and mocktails. The rooms are incredibly clean and the beds and linens are crisp and cozy. This is truly a unique experience and a destination in and of itself. We felt like we were staying in a museum, not a hotel room. We loved the ocean front/downtown location and stunning view. It was magical; we highly recommend it!!

Three of us ladies stayed here in between other adventures in Nome. The owners were very accommodating. We loved the staff, bar, central location, and history. The rooms are very clean and bright for such an old hotel that has been through so much.

Over looking the Bering Sea, Nestled at the Corner of Front Street & where the Finish Line to the World Famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race Is the Nome Nugget Inn & The Gold Dust Saloon. The welcoming smiles of the staff warm your heart, when its chilly outside. The NEWLY updated Rooms, add a touch of class to this already amazing travel destination experience.

If work, curiosity or a longing sense for adventure brings you near the Arctic Circle or the of Tomorrow (International Date Line)... I highly recommend adding NOME NUGGET INN, to your must see places.

Not many people can say they have been here. Join the few that have seen and been to a piece living history.

I had a really nice stay here. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, my room was clean and crisp, and the view out my window towards the beach gave me great evening views.

Rundown, dirty old property. Thick layers of dust on all items in the lobby. Room was not clean. Dirty floor, dust everywhere, holes in window screens and screens missing. Bathroom sink and faucet were not cleaned after previous guest. Mildewed shower curtain. Constant water pressure changes in the tiny, cramped shower; ice cold then scalding hot. Stayed in an upstairs room directly above the bar which gets rowdy at night, very loud -- could clearly hear conversations from below. Old photos and memorabilia items on display in the bar indicate that this was likely a neat place to stay "back in the day". However, the current owners appear to only care about collecting your money. It's apparent from the current condition of the property that the owners care nothing about maintaining the property in a habitable state.

Room fairly clean, showers were hot water. But the Inn was very old and dated. People were friendly. We were there in June. No screens on the windows. Not too many bugs in the rooms. We did have a tv. There is a bar and restaurant below, weren't there over the weekend so it was fairly quiet.
