I spent almost one week at Southern Bluff B+B in Soldotna Alaska. I did not want to leave. | John and Shirley were wonderful people !! I was treated like family rather than just a client. | Shirley was gracious and accommodating to my needs. Shirley made a terrific breakfast every morning. My room and bathroom were extremely clean and neat. Very quiet and peaceful. | John and Shirley were very knowledgeable of the area and willing to share their knowledge. They went out of their way to make my stay the best it could be.| I have nothing negative to say ! I will be returning to Southern Bluff B+B next year. John and Shirley left a great impression on me. A fantastic B&B! My friend and I stayed here from Monday through Friday morning and I felt like I was at home immediately. The Alaskan themed decor was very nice. Breakfast was yummy, especially the pancakes. Fresh fruit, tasty juice and tea or coffee served with every breakfast. Shirley and John made it very easy for me to feel like I was visiting friends in their home instead of just a B&B!||To top off our breakfasts, we had a moose and her young, twin offspring visit in the yard. An experience of a lifetime for me!

My first B&B experience. Hosts were terrific! Plenty of everything we needed, great coffee, terrific breakfast options. --AWESOME PANCAKES!! Bed was comfortable and rooms were clean and warmly decorated. Great location to venture anywhere around the Kenai Peninsula. Plenty of restaurant choices in area, even as the season was winding down. Close to main road but off just enough for Moose to visit a couple of mornings in the yard. Highly recommended and hope I have the opportunity to return! Thank you Shirley & John for your hospitality!

Bed was great! Breakfast was even better. My husband had to have her yummy French Toast every day after sampling it! Helpful to the max to make our stay pleasant. Had to drag my husband out of the river for some sight seeing with the car they provided

We stayed at Southern Bluff B&B April 26-28. Shirley is a great host ensuring that all amenities are in place. Breakfast is fantastic. The B&B is amazingly clean and quiet. Shirley knows the area well and gave recommendations for dinner and nice walks. If you have a chance to stay at Southern Bluff B&B do it. You will not regret the stay or the price.

Shirley and John are such warm people, you instantly feel at home with them. I was without a car, so Shirley dropped me off at dinner on her way to do grocery shopping and brought me back, going above and beyond! The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! Breakfast the next morning was filled with delicious pancakes and wonderful conversation- a great place to stay.

Super friendly and cozy experience. The rooms are spacious, bed is super comfy, shower has great water pressure. Everything is immaculate. I felt right at home and very at ease. Breakfast is made to order and very hearty. A great way to start a beautiful day in Alaska. I can't wait to return!
