The Log Cabin Inn was a great stop two night stop on our tour of the Kenai Peninsula. It is an authentic fishing lodge that is a friendly, comfortable Alaska family operated B&B. ||The building is a decades old, authentic log structure, beautifully built and classically designed. It brought to my mind Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone. Sitting atop a hill, the Inn has great views of the Kenai River flats in the distance, and overlooks a beaver pond & lodge. My sister awoke to see a baby moose having breakfast below her window||We stayed in the two rooms on the top floor. My wife and I in one room and my sister in the other. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Theresa’s breakfasts were delicious, and she was very helpful to us with fishing reservations. She also suggested a great, short hike to see the Kenai River gorge when we headed to Cooper Landing for a raft ride. She also gave us two large cans of bear spray (which we happily returned unused).

Rustic but comfortable. Just what we were looking for. Staff was friendly and very helpful with navigating to various locations.|Cabin was cozy and comfortable but not luxurious. If you are looking for a more realistic Alaskan experience we highly recommend the Denali cabins

We needed a place to stay for one night in the Soldotna area, so we found the Log Cabin Inn online. We got in last minute so we were grateful to have a room. The accommodations were fine. It felt like a room in someone's house in the basement, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owner Teresa was VERY nice and so were her kids. She served a hot breakfast that was a great start to our day. We did not take advantage of any of the guide services, but there were other's there that did and they said it was great fishing. I would recommend it.

Our stay at the Log Cabin Inn, was the highlight of our Alaskan trip. Every clean and the service was beyond excellent. Teresa made us feel at home and was a very knowledgeable hostess. We were there for the fishing and she made sure that we hit the rivers with an excellent breakfast and very good lunches. We returned from fishing to a clean and inviting lodge with plenty of amenities.
I highly recommend this rural and picturesque lodge.

Four of us stayed in one of the cabins on a fishing trip arranged with Russell Fishing. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The cabins are more rustic than the lodge, however after fishing all day it was perfect for us. The breakfasts were great and Theresa made sure we had plenty to eat and packed us lunches for the boat.

The cabins are open floor plans, with one full and two twin beds, No WIFI, took along time to get hot water, cabins weren't insulated very well, no drying rack for gear outside cabins, the breakfast each morning was ok( she made breakfast pizza one morning that was way overcooked and served anyway.) There was a small fridge and microwave in each room. No linen service all week or fresh towels. I know its Alaska and can appreciate the rustic feel, but teenagers enjoy internet access and access to ESPN on TV. I would pick a lodge with newer rooms and more amenities for the price.

this was a real find at a reasonable price for the area! The room was clean and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are above and beyond expectations and the coffee is awesome! They lodge is open and inviting. Truly a find!
