My wife and my favorite of the Princess Resorts. The log cabins style rooms are awesome. Having a wood burning stove in the cabin was cool. Shuttles are available from cabins to the guest services building but my wife and I loved the beautiful walk. We really enjoyed the trails around the lodge as well. Food was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful experience at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge—it was the most pleasant of the four Alaska Princess lodges we stayed at during our trip. Unlike the larger, more crowded lodges, this hotel had a cozy, intimate feel, with cabins designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature, providing a genuine wilderness experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even offered us impromptu rides in the van when we needed to get back up the hill from the river or when we were walking to our cabins! Speaking of the river, exploring the area was a delight. It was a short walk downhill from the main lodge, and we were lucky enough to witness pink salmon making their way up the stunning turquoise waters. Paired with the beauty of the surrounding mountains and trees, this was a spectacular experience. Another highlight of our stay was signing up for the aurora call and, sure enough, we got the call! At 1:00 AM, we stepped outside our cabin and were greeted by the magnificent northern lights. It was an unforgettable experience. Overall, we highly recommend this lodge for anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic nature getaway.

Beautiful and quiet area surrounded by nature. Pitches with electricity, clean and heated bathrooms, working wifi. Laundry with coins with the possibility of changing cash not far away and a small store with various snacks. Affordable price. Wonderful staff, friendly, helpful and helpful (thank you David). We were very pleased to stay here, if possible we will gladly return.

This review is about the resturant and the bar. Great to sit inside in this wonderful high ceiling restaurant with wood paneling. The window seating is limited so get a reservation and ask for that. The view over the Kenai River and Cecil Rhodes Mountain is worth it with a chance to see eagles drifting by. There is only a small difference in price to order breakfast a la carte to the buffet. The bar menu is okay, and if the weather is suitable, sit outside on the deck afternoon and evening. Be sure to have some layers as it can cool off fast in Alaska. Service on the deck can be slow. If one sits outside on the deck for dinner, ask for a dinner menu too. Choice of microbrews in the full bar. The bar is small and can be very loud for old ears. The menu seems similar this year to last.

What fabulous lodge! The room was outstanding as far as comfort, complete with wood burning stove. There was plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time at this lodge. It was an unexpected surprise when we arrived based on the other lodges we stayed at during our land portion of our Princess tour. I would highly recommend this lodge as part of your experience with Princess. The restaurant food was very good, service was a bit hectic when someone did not show up, but they handled it all very well.

We had a reservation and stopped by at approximately 2pm to see if we could check in early. We were told that nothing was available at the moment and we would receive a call when our room was ready. We gave our phone number and went and found things to do. We never received a call. We went and burned time and called the hotel at approximately 6pm. Our room was available. The bathroom was pretty dirty with hairs. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. There was no wifi available in our lodging but we could go to lobby if it was needed. This is the first lodging product I have seen in over 20 years with no refrigeration in the room. Not that big a deal except we have an insulin dependent diabetic in the family. Overall, it was a comfortable bed. Definitely an average lodging product that is a bit overpriced for the level of amenities and service provided. The view and having the princess cruise likely increase the demand drive the price but definitely not worth the value received. I have been a GM for over 25 years in the hotel industry.

Rustic cabin type rooms, which are roomy and very nice. Wood burning stove & covered patio in every unit. Free wood outside unit & Firestarter wood & matches inside every unit. Bathroom & shower on the small side, but adequate. Resteraunt breakfast & dinner food is very good. Staff is excellent.

Just had a one night stop here with our Princess cruise land tour. Our room was wonderful! Felt like it had just been updated. Loved the vaulted ceilings and the wood stove and porch. Appreciated the shuttle when it was needed. The trails around the lodge are gorgeous. Ate the bar and the restaurant. Food was exceptional! So was our service! Everyone working there were so friendly and informative!! Just a wonderful time!!
