Quite possibly the best deviled eggs I've had in my life! I also enjoyed the Wellington sandwich, and the Japanese sweet potato cheesecake. The presentation of the menu items was amazing on all three, but the cheesecake presentation was another level! This was my first time here and I was blown away by the hospitality, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the food quality, and I'm looking forward to next time now that I was told about "the secret menu" 5 stars !

Me and my Fiancee John were coming from Anchorage, AK to visit Wasilla, AK for a fun road trip the day before Labor Day. At first they were closed to prepare for dinner at 4pm, so we walked around the clock tower mall and and visited a couple shops before arriving back to Meta and Rose Restaurant. We went back at around 4pm and waited to be seated. It did take about 5 minutes to get seated, but we were greatly greeted by the Owner of the restaurant who gave us a tour of his foods and drinks menu.

My Fiancee was intrigued to hear how the old fashioned drink was a signature drink from the owner. We didn't expect much from the drink, but it was such an experience we've never had. I was totally surprised with the foods that were brought to us, in such a beautiful matter and each bite was exquisite. We've been to many, many restaurants and by far this is the fanciest and best restaurant we've ever been too. We normally don't like to go far for a restaurant, but for Meta and Rose Restaurant, we will visit 💯. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience and delightful food. Meta and Rose will be our favorite Restaurant in all of Alaska.

Really good food & atmosphere. Service was great as well. Great kitchen staff... Located in the cool clocktower building. It's not Meta & Rose anymore. New ownership & spot which will also have a new name... Had the mushroom risotto, French onion soup, butter noodles for baby, the dirty chicken alfredo, the steak, the beignets, & some wine. All excellent👌Meat & vegetables all cooked perfectly. My pictures aren't great since we couldn't help but dig in right away as all looked so scrumptious... They haven't had their grand opening, yet. From what we experienced so far, we will most definitely be back for more & often!

Very nice upscale restaurant located in the Clock Tower. They have a great menu of boozy coffees, as well as various flavors for mimosas (which also come in pitchers). Seating at ground floor and upstairs, quiet vibe, amazing brunch menu; this is the kind of place that you come to when you get a babysitter. **The building only has 2 single-occupant bathrooms, which requires asking for a key from an employee.

Highway Hiking

I've been to some of the finer restaurants around the country, but have yet to find something as spectacular as Meta & Rose in Wasilla, AK. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and the food is...well, there's hardly any words that can describe how good it is. I had the Pork Belly and Scallop Risotto and my husband had the Halibut. Amazing! And don't skip the desserts!

Pretty restaurant. Quiet location. During the week the downstairs part of the restaurant was empty for dinner. Upstairs had live music. Highly recommend the Meta Brie and Pear Salad. The Wedge & Steak Salad was excellent (substituted wedge for arugula). The Arti-Peno Dip was a tasty appitizer.

Sadly this place has been very hit and miss. My previous experience here with brunch was top-notch! It has become apparent from the quality of their food. They are more interested in maximizing profits than they are in providing the same standard of food. This is unfortunate. This is apparent in the same price on the menu for the chicken fried chicken. The price is the same. However, the quality and ingredients have taken a nosedive. No longer do you receive what you pay for. Instead you receive chain restaurant quality food. I do hope to see this change. This place has been a favorite of mine for a while now. And I consistently recommend it to people I know. But I can't in good conscience recommend this place anymore until their practices improve and they operate with more integrity.

We all knew they were great but, who knew how great Meta & Rose would be to host a private event? I can't recommend them enough! Every detail was handled to perfection! When I say every detail, it includes personalized menu's, elegant ambiance, and unmatched service! The food reminded me of a high end New York restaurant from presentation to taste! It was amazing!
