When I first moved to the panhandle I was afraid I'd never find a place that I'd love. Boy howdy did I . Ed made me feel like I was family and did so for 26 and a half years three babies one of which I went into Labor standing there making my usual order 😁. I moved after My husband passed away but I come back often to see my baby and grandsons. And I frequently come into the station for my same ol breakfast burrito. Doesn't feel the same with out Ed physically being here but they sure do keep it going like he would have wanted it . Eds wife does a wonderful job. Passing through or living there stop in and grab some grub you will not regret it✌️

This place kicks butt! the server was sweeter than sugar. the deco is a love letter to panhandle culture! serving sizes are generous! Free! Free pinto beans in a crock pot! Yes please! when im back in town im spending my money here!

I stopped here on a whim for lunch. I like hole in the wall joints.
This exceeded my expectations! First, I got the haystack. It is layered biscuit, sausage/egg mix like omelet, hashed bown potatoes, and toped with gravy. That was a breakfast heaven....
Next, I got fries, which are homestyle fries, don't expect McDonald's fries, these have more flavor!
Last was the double cheese burger with mayo (not miracle whip). The patties are quite thin, maybe 1/4". That is the only negative thing I see with these. They are not dry. And they are a burst of flavor
Side note. They deliver with orders over $20
