Given the area, they do a really good job keeping the less fortunate and addicted (politically correct purposes only) out!!!! We stayed there for 4 months without a single incident. The staff were very helpful and security does a great job with what they have to work with. Once you leave the property, be extremely cautious. If you decide to offer outsiders help, just know you are increasing the chances of becoming a victim. It happens every single day.

Served us very well. We pulled our camper from Tennessee and used the golden nugget as our “base” to keep our camper as we came and went exploring Alaska for a couple of weeks. I liked the tight security because we had to offload fuel, spare tires, supplies and a generator which we stored under the camper. No one bothered a thing.

This place was exactly what we needed after such a long journey. We had been on the road 8 days, 2 vehicles, a u-haul, travel trailer, pets, & they were able to accommodate us late evening. The staff are friendly & helpful, as is security, the bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. 5 stars. Will stay here anytime we are in Anchorage. Thank you!

The sites are very level making it easy. The water connection lakes at tap. Multiple were leaking a fair amount even when not hooked up. The overall place is nice. Clean. Large laundry area. Many broken machines but marked appropriately. Shower area private. Clean. Would return

Place is in a great location. Bathrooms where clean and quiet. But no food or drinks. The staff and security is the issue here. Most rudest from what I've seen and heard. A. Samoan staff or security officer driving big black truck offered some young lady to go meet him down the street since she got caught in the shower trespassing. Herd him say " it's clean you just got showered rite" While the little gal looked at him in a disgusting manner before walking away shacking her head like she couldn't even believe what she was just asked. Scary to think the people like that working and t.

This campsite Has No Frills or thrills but is conveniently located where we will return the RV. Bathrooms are clean. Picnic tables were falling apart, literally. Seems to be centrally located in Anchorage.

The WORST customer service EVER. I checked in on June 2nd for a 3 month stay. The first time I emptied the black tank unbeknownst to me, their sewer was blocked, resulting in a huge gush of sewage all over me until I could close my tank. I called the front office who sent a person to see what they could do. She arrived and giggled at me. Then another guy came and looked amazed at the whole thing. The office girl pranced away giggling at the situation and I said something about her just walking away without a solution. An hour later, I called the office to find out what they were going to do and they said "we have to call the maintenance manager to get the key to make the hole out. 45 minutes later the guy came to snake the hole out. He and the other worker were talking about me "having a crappy day" and "this is a shty situation". They couldn't clear it and had to call in someone who sucked out a huge rock. HE, along with the other park workers giggled and joked about my predicament for another 30 minutes. 4.5 hours later the hole is cleared. As I was getting ready to get into the shower, the manager knocked at my door and said "The person we sent to help you is only 16 years old and you hurt her feelings. She told her daddy...who owns this place, and we're evicting you. We don't tolerate that behavior toward our employees. She refused to hear my side of the story string "we don't care. You SHOULD apologize to her, but we're still evicting you". They did NOT refund me for July 1 and July 2. And if you question them about the refund, they threaten to call cops on you. Someone else got evicted that week because someone failed to clean up their dog poop in front of her RV and they assumed it was her(she was at work). These people have NO work ethic and NO customer service. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PEOPLE. Here were my neighbors.
