We throughly enjoyed our stay. We had a partial ocean view. It was wonderful. We spent many hours on the lanai enjoying the beauty of Maui. The room was spacious and had plenty of storage space for our things. ||In case you are trying to decide between Oahu and Maui Hyatt, this hotel exceeds it by leaps and bounds. ||Some of our favorite activities were spending time by the pool, shopping in the stores, especially the Holle Fine Art Gallery, watching the penguins in the lobby, having cocktails at the bar, exploring the beautiful hotel grounds, and admiring the art throughout the Hyatt. ||Whaler’s Village is a short walk down the beach. Please note the Beach Walk in front of the Kaanapali Ali’i is no longer there. They have a detour set up, or you can walk in the sand. It was great walking a short distance to dinner each night. If you prefer not to walk, there is a trolley that you can hop on and off. ||I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa on Maui.

Had a great time! Rooms were clean and offered great views of the ocean. Service was friendly and very cooperative during our stay. I liked how the hotel was close to Lahaina, numerous resorts, and Whalers Village. There are some good restaurants on propery, such as Japengo and Swan Court Breakfast Buffet. Overall, great stay!

Hyatt group hits all the high notes with this grouping of hotels on Kanapali. There are three unique water features including a swan pond, children pond and larger pond . Beware that the child pond has a very very deep side . The pools are open 24*7 including a hot tub that's tastefully heated.

The rooms are fantastic and designed for maximum utility with storage space, and a side couch in some rooms that are big enough for a small adult or a big kid. One can rent gear right at the beach as well as walk to the more crowded but special black rock feature in the North.

for people trying to save time and money, there is a convenience store with good quality sushi and a microwave . hotel will send a microwave to the room if needed.

Overall Hyatt hits all the high notes. The decoration in the common area is muted and can use really use a refresh. The hotel also lacks a show stopper feature art. The swan pond covers for it in the nature section with a waterfall and a ball swan.

A beautiful family-friendly resort in a wonderful Maui location. We loved our stay. The pools are very kid-friendly. We appreciated the pool designed for younger kids. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was updated and very clean. The location is great- able to walk to beaches, boat excursions, and restaurants. We were able to snorkel at a beach within walking distance and several within a quick drive. The club was great for breakfast and snacks. We highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Maui especially with kids!

I love this place so much. Perfect stay for a perfect vacation in the perfect island of Maui. Every employee we encountered was friendly and polite. Everything was clean and beautiful at all times. The walking path to the mall and Black Rock beach is a dream. I did their yoga class - great. We used their pickleball courts - great. Their pools and jacuzzis - great. I did come review the Hyatt mostly because I wanted to hype up the breakfast/dinner lounge. If you’re able to, I recommend it. I know you have to pay extra for it but in my opinion it was worth it. The breakfast is simple but delicious. Their coffee is amazing and you can get expressos anytime of the day. Their dinners are supposed to be appetizers but they could counted as full meals. Their drink specials are great too!!!

Overall, I love this hotel and can’t wait to go back.

We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a corner room in the main building, which offered a truly amazing view of the property, the ocean, and the island. The room was wonderfully quiet; the only sound I heard at night was the peaceful rhythm of the waves.

The swimming pool was large and deep, perfect for lap swimming. I especially appreciated that it felt slightly heated, making it comfortable to swim even at night.

The lounge access was incredibly convenient for grabbing coffee and small bites. Additionally, the lei making class was a fun and enjoyable activity.

If you want to spend your hard-earned money in the most meaningful way, this hotel is an excellent choice for a family getaway—especially with grandchildren. The kid-friendly swimming pool, along with a spacious and well-maintained adult pool, offers something for everyone. Seeing your grandchildren’s faces light up at the sight of penguins and parrots in the hotel’s entrance lobby is truly unforgettable. Add to that the peaceful oceanfront walking path and, most of all, the warm Hawaiian ocean breeze in the middle of the Pacific—even in December—and you have all the reasons to choose this hotel for creating lasting memories with your precious family.

The room is recently remodeled and quite, offering a beautiful sea view. The multiple pools are enjoyable, and the beach isn't overcrowded. Food options are varied and delicious. While the club lounge can be busy during holidays and there's a long line at the front desk, the overall experience is very pleasant and relaxing.
