My boyfriend and I rented a cabin for 3 nights while he competed in the Ironman in Augusta. Being only 10 minutes away, it was perfect for us. The cabin had everything we needed, the owner was super kind, and the river view added to our stay. The campground was quiet, filled with nice people, and conveniently located near a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants.

of all the places we stayed on the east coast on our rv trip down from alaska, this one was the oddest. i had reserved my spot online months in advance, and it was nearly impossible to find this place. they had a gate blocking your way in so we had to walk in to find somone in charge, and they were shocked that i had a reservation, i guess the people who stay here basically live here. an oddity we hit a few more times late in our trip, must be an east coast thing. otherwise it was nice and quiet, right on the river. had a nice shower, but we seemed out of place there and were more than happy to be on our way in the morning....
