This was my second visit, having visited a year ago in June, and it tasted just like the first time. It's a good choice if you're passing by, so I hope you stop by if you're on your way. However, the booth is a bit narrow, so it may feel cramped for larger people. Please note that it is closed in winter. The outside looks clean because the building itself has been remodeled, but the interior is the same.

I had a big breakfast of 3 scrambled eggs, fries, and wheat toast. Added sausage. Delivery time and service were good to my 3 friends and I. Our server checked in on us politely, and she was so fun. Bus boys checked in on our beverages...Yes, more coffee, please!

The grilled chicken sandwich on Rye was awesome! Side salad sub-par. Shared a huge appetizer/ sampler - yum. Hubby had a hot roast beef sandwich with mash potatoes. He said it needed to be seasoned. There are lots to try on the menu, and we will be back! Super clean restaurant with a
happy staff.

Just a hometown friendly environment, diner style food. My review is on the eggs benedict, because that’s really all I get there unless I’m feeling adventurous. REALLY yummy. I go here just for that. Good portions and home fries are reliable.

A must stop if you are traveling through town.

Most of my family met for a Pre-Christmas Breakfast get together. The restaurant was clean and cheerful decorated for the season. We were quickly seated at a table to accommodate our family. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. Our orders came quickly and the food was well prepared and tasty. Everyone was pleased with their food. It is an excellent restaurant for homestyle food.

Our group came in and two of us ordered the Ribeye steak @ $29 each. Both were absolutely bland and one was quite tough. Their mashed potatoes were also completely bland; the whole meal had no flavor except the dressing on the salad. Very disappointing.

The staff were very friendly however forgot my chili so I took it to go.
The mens restroom floor was quite gross and greasy. The rest of the restaurant was quite clean.

For they type of restaurant that it is, I'm giving it 4 🌟.
This restaurant is way larger then it appears and seems to be a family favorite as it was pretty busy when we arrived and people kept coming in. Having just moved to the area we are eager to find some go to places that satisfy the palet, the tummies and the budget!
The menu is pretty substantial. Usually I'll pick from a select few of some old standbys at a new place but this time around, I was having a hard time choosing! My husband and I actually relied on the way pleasant waiter to give us his selections.....he actually listed things that we were debating on so we went with his selections.
My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak breakfast. I picked the Alaskan burger with a chili side. The chili was really good! The burger though, was disappointing and it solidified that I'm just not impressed with "reindeer sausage". There is zero special about it. There, I said it!
The waiter delivered mayo, ketchup and mustard as I soon found that this burger had zero spread on it. So I proceeded to lather it up and 1: the bun is too soft to support not only a patty, but sausage as well. It was too flimsy. 2: cooks should be aware that if a customer is going to have to add their own condiments that it's wise not to use a patty that is not only over charred but missing @ 1/3 of itsself! Now, if the patty had remained tasting burnt and thus dry, it would've been disappointing but the last few bites had that spoiled meat taste. Ick.
Trying to remain positive, the coffee was good and plenty, service was great and it did look like their breakfasts would be the reason to go. Honestly, we left with paying less then $40/2....kinda unheard of these days!
Despite being disappointed in my particular burger, we will continue to go and try different things

I ordered grill salmon and they brought me a fish smelling horrible that you could
smell from afar rotten bone! I told the waitress and she then told me that they apologize for what happened, she told me to order whatever I wanted from the menu at no cost and even dessert too, obviously at this point I no longer wanted anything from there because my stomach did not feel very well. I don't understand who thinks of preparing a fish like this in a literal state of decomposition and serving it to someone like that! I was to naïve because I should have asked to talk to the manager then, at least to heard to why they do something so disgusting in a restaurant that serves so many people and that still has good customers despite so many problems that I hear more often when sharing my horrible experience there.
I will not go back and I am definitely no recommend this place to nobody else.
