I read a lot of bad reviews for hotels all over Glenwood Springs Colorado and the residence Inn seem to be the better of the reviews I read, but still not great. We needed a place to stay and decided this was the best option. I’m glad we did! The place is clean, well taken care and the beds are comfy. The front desk service, and all of the people we ran into were very pleasant and attentive. I would certainly return here again.

This hotel was just what I was looking for. My room was just a basic room, but it had a full kitchen complete with dishes and the basic essentials, a couch, a desk and dining table, and a separate bedroom/bathroom area. It was quiet and comfortable.

The property has a small fitness center and an indoor pool, a Tesla supercharger in the parking lot, and it’s conveniently located to get anywhere in Glenwood Springs and the surrounding area.

Housekeeping comes every other day.

**Disappointed with Our Stay — Wouldn’t Recommend**

We stayed at the Residence Inn in Glenwood Springs with our family and our baseball team, and unfortunately, the experience was not what we hoped for. Right from the start, our original room had a broken AC unit in the middle of summer. We were moved to another room, but shockingly, they gave our first room to another family without fixing the issue.

The third floor smelled strongly of curry for two days, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was seriously lacking. Our rooms hadn’t been vacuumed, the shower was clogged every time we used it, and the tile was actually lifting up in spots. The pool area was another low point — it was dirty, the patio furniture was filthy, and there were *never* towels available in the evenings.

The front desk service was also a huge letdown. One woman in particular wore sunglasses inside, made rude comments, gave attitude to guests, and even yelled at a group of kids from another baseball team who were just being playful. The atmosphere felt far from welcoming.

The only redeeming part of the stay was the breakfast — it was fresh and had a decent variety. Other than that, we were very disappointed and will not be returning.

When traveling the country we made the decision to only stay at Residence Inn's when possible (Which was most of the trip), But with that came the hurdle that almost all of them had NO EV Charging options. Except this one... Onsite Superchargers right in the parking lot. We were able to leave with a full battery for a change, and that made things even easier.
Great place to stay for Tesla drivers.

There are definitely some positives to highlight about this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained—easily one of the better aspects of my stay. I also appreciated the fire pit area, which was a relaxing touch and a nice place to unwind in the evening.||However, despite these highlights, I will not be returning for a couple of reasons. First, the breakfast area showed a lack of attention and care. The flimsy paper plates, dirty counters, and empty coffee pots made for a disappointing experience that didn’t match the quality of the rooms.||But most importantly, I was surprised—and frankly frustrated—to discover a $15 parking fee added at checkout. There was no mention of this charge during check-in, in the app when I booked, or in the confirmation email I received. That email clearly stated a price that included all fees. This isn’t a downtown hotel or a high-demand area where parking is scarce. It’s a standard surface lot next to a strip mall in a remote location. Realistically, nearly 100% of guests are driving, so adding a surprise fee feels like a deceptive upcharge.||After seeing multiple other reviews mention this exact issue, I’m disappointed that it continues. If management insists on this fee, it should be made very clear before booking—not tacked on after the fact. Better yet, simply include it in the nightly rate and be transparent about the cost.||I’m writing in the hope that something actually changes. Until then, I’ll be booking elsewhere.

Stop to charge my Tesla and decided to check in as I’ve stayed at Marriott before and have had good experiences. The price was reasonable and I was staying for two nights after I got to my room. I found a note under my door that there will be no water at the facility from 11 AM to 4 PM. (I was not informed of this when I checked in)
OK! I can deal with that. The cold water was back on at 4 PM but as of 10 PM there is still no hot water and they don’t know when or if it will be fixed by the time we check out tomorrow morning. The included Breakfast was so awful that I did not even try it. The scrambled eggs were obviously made out of powdered eggs and did not look good, the bacon was soggy and undercooked, and the hashbrowns look more like hash whites.
Though the room was clean and well appointed the rest of the carpeting in the common areas was the worst I’ve ever seen in any hotel. Particularly the stairways were disgusting.

This Residence Inn needs many improvements. The first thing is that they charge $15.00 per night for parking. Two of three of the nights there were no parking spots anywhere. We had to park the car at the Courtyard across from the Residence. When I asked for a credit for the parking the hotel refused.|Also on the first morning they had no eggs for the breakfast and they ran out of oatmeal. When we asked them to fill the oatmeal they added hot water to the tiny bit of oatmeal left on the bottom. When we asked about the eggs they said they did not have any.|The pullout sofa bed in the room was horrible, all coils and no padding at all. My son had to sleep directly on the sofa which was also very uncomfortable and you could tell many had slept on it because it was very worn. They provide sheets for the pullout, one pillow and one thin blanket. |Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Marriott could do better!

This is a decent hotel but the $15 parking fee is just a lazy cash grab. Rooms are pretty worn. I'm not sure if there are any better options in the area, though.
