I only go to this location because it’s the closest to me. I used to go to the Andover one when I lived over there. Which I really miss that location. The stand up red light in Cambridge is usually dirty where you stand. I’m usually standing in dirt or hair. The beds are older than Andover. Some of the double doors don’t lock at Cambridge. Place needs more upkeep & more cleaning. The girls here are very nice.

Ok, all the ladies that work here are so kind and easy to work with and have left a positive experience with me except one Taylor Strom.

She misinformed/lied to me about a promotion and this resulted in me paying $30 for 1 service instead of 2 services. My plan already allowed for 1 for $30 on this so that wouldnt have been a deal. When I asked her she admitted to me that she believed she sold me two and seemed to not know why there wasn't another. She said she couldn't fix it and I would have to talk to the store manager to get it fixed. When I talked to the store manager she reached out to the regional office and I was told there is nothing they could do. But there is, they could credit me my other session that their sales associate made a commission off of.

In addition to that they offer friends can tan in a basic bed when you come with my plan. I see this as a good incentive and way to bring in new clients. However what they don't explain to you is that in order to do this they have to be with you the first time you go there on any particular day. There's no FAQ or written info on the website. Super frustrating when your wife normally tans elsewhere and that machine isn't working so I attempt to bring her to use the basic bed here only to be told I cannot do this because I had already used a spa service that day. This was also Taylor Strom, No courtesy or complimentary access to the basic bed just no, even though nobody explained it and it isn't written anywhere to be able to know.

Additionally I had problems with the caps on both products I bought at what seemed to be an overpriced rate. If you're selling high end products, make sure they are high end and not in cheap packaging.

I don't think the owner or regional manager care about customers at all. The other ladies that work here are amazing and definetly make the experience more fun because of their positive attitudes.

I will be the first to admit the customer isnt always right but in this instance, you were wrong each time.

Regional manager and Taylor Strom do better!

The ladies at the salon are nice and helpful, but customer service sucks, and if you contact them they say there is nothing they can do. I asked for a call back from management and nobody called

Updating this review a few weeks later. Again they can’t get their act together so after having to re-sign up for my membership because of poor business practice, they tell me I have to sign another release 3 weeks later because they said I didn’t sign it with the membership. I DID sign the form the first time. It obviously didn’t save on their end. Very frustrating that it’s so disorganized. Do better please

Makenzie and Ella were very knowledgeable, professional and helpful getting me signed up. Very well maintained and very clean, amazing selection and acceptable prices. The sauna and massage bed are extra I didn't expect. The beds are all bright and a great selection. One of my favorite tanning places I been so far.

I love the Cambridge location! Ella Wentworth and Avari are seriously the best!! They are the reason I come! They are both so nice and very knowledgeable! They are always so bright and happy! 🖤

This place is incredible! The staff is so bubbly and cheerful and REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF, including my name, which they all greet me by! I love the $89 a month membership. It's an incredible deal, I was spending hundreds a WEEK! Now I walk in, tip (my choice, they clean up some not so fresh areas.. they deserve it!) and tan, do spa treatments, and have great conversation with really bright, kind ladies, and pay only $89 a month....might seem like alot but compared to my out of pocket sessions it's a steal! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you don't have a membership, the price is way too high. My friend & I both did a lay down tanning bed purchased sample lotions & new goggles. This one time tanning session cost us over $127 which I was told is the best price we could get. Breaking the cost down it costs approximately $65 to tan one time I'm a lay down tanning bed at this place. The staff was nice but I simply cannot afford this place! With planet fitness having red light beds, stand ups & lay down tanning beds available unlimited for only $25 month, I feel that Totally Tan is way overpriced.

OmG! The value and customer service is AMAZING! This was me and my daughter's first time here and everything was explained very well. We got the celebrity club membership with 30% off all products today and its so worth it! We also got a spray tan that looks great too! Thanks guys!!
