Holiday Hills was perfect for us at the recent Bassmaster Open tournament on Norfolk. Tournament guys if you are looking for good parking and a safe location this is it. We had every amenity we needed to stay on location. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook nightly. Use of the boat ramp made prefish a ease and the owner and staff were exceptional ! I will not look for another place on Norfolk if we ever return I will just make my booking!

This place is a hidden oasis. The rooms are super clean. It has the perfect location, Private boat ramp and slip. Not far from "Jordan's marina" after you launch. Very clean landscape, the grounds were perfectly manicured, the pool was very clean. The staff there was amazing and accommodating. I will definitely be back!!!

We always love going to Holiday Hills Resort. Our family of 5 has plenty to do with the dock, swimming area, pool, and going out on our boat. Yes, I know some reviews commented on the millipedes, which are sometimes there, but the staff is constantly trying new means to help remedy the situation. Last time we stayed, they were very minimal and....it is expected to see bugs when you are in cabins surrounded by woods. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with anything you need.

If you are looking for a "Fancy" 5-star resort, look elsewhere. Holiday Hills may not have the fancy up-to-date amenities, but they are clean, stocked with housewares, and come with what you need to have an enjoyable stay.

Highly recommend if you are a laid back, nature-loving family who enjoys swimming and fishing in the lake.

This place is in the best part of the lake. It’s very calm and uncrowded but the new management is awful. They are rude (unfriendly, unwelcoming) , the cabins are not thoroughly cleaned (on the back of my bedroom door is a mirror, it’s covered in fingerprints and yucky smears, the porch floor is black, if you walk on the carpet barefoot your feet will be black) they (Tony) do every repair half way (leave the only dishpan under sink to collect water from a leak because they didn’t fix it correctly) because they (Marcus) clearly don’t care, and the place has less and less each year. Example; only picnic tables to sit at when for 20 years there were always other patio furniture/chairs with backs. The bedding, furniture and carpeting hasn’t changed in over 20 years and you need a chiropractor visit after sleeping in one of their awful beds. Especially their ancient spring bunk beds with 50 year old covers on them. The manager clearly spends all his time fishing according to the Facebook page. The owner drives around in a fancy golf cart and boat but doesn’t seem to care a bit about his customers. Ex. Last year one of our group fell in shower because the doors were broken; still broke! The A/C leaks and the current manager can’t be bothered to put a bucket under it so no one falls on the slick floor! They don’t clean or repair or repaint the porches, the dock looks the worst it’s ever looked and everything is covered in bugs. Ir was never like that when Joe and Carla ran it. Their are so many better places to stay on this lake abs after 20 years our group will be moving on. We’ve given this owner 2 years and seen nothing but declines in service, cleanliness, and overall maintenance.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Second year in a row we reserved a room(s) that was suppose to come WITH a boat stall. Last year we finally got stalls but only because someone had not left items to indicate the stalls were taken. Caused some trouble. This year they tried to give us stalls that were too small for the boats even thought we had told them the boat sizes when we reserved the rooms....and they assure us we would have stalls. Not only that but due to high water(not their fault) they had a cable running under water across the boat ramp. My motor and trailer both got caught on this cable and were damaged. Later we were told they would have lowered the cable for us to launch the boats if we had only told them. Of course we were not informed of this when we talked to the manager just minutes before we tried to launched. This was on a Wednesday evening after dark....we were told they "might" have boat stalls available on Friday or Saturday afternoon. We left and will never go back to gthis poorly run operation.

It used to be a really nice place and I went there every year but the past few years there were bugs that we couldn't get rid of. We found them in our beds in the shower and it was gross. They could climb the walls and end up on the ceiling. We are no mw going somewhere else and I'm really upset that my growing memories had to stop growing for such a sad thing
