There could be a better TV display. The food is actually amazing and they have a great price for fried food. The sea food is based on market price.

This place can have a couple more options for seasoning. Then it would be even better. The secret sauces?

Been at the Boiling Crab many times in NYC and first time here. I recommend the "Trio" sauce (Cajun + Butter & Garlic + Lemon Spice) for over powering garlic taste. I made a mistake by ordering Cajun sauce cuz that's the trio in NYC. They ran out ofb crab or lobster that night, so we ordered 2 lbs of shrimps and side orders. Calamari fries were the best! Like an onion ring size. Catfish fry was good (becareful not to burn your tongue on your first bite) too it comes with Cajun French fries. Ordered a side of white rice to eat the sauce and brought left overs. About 30min wait time on Thursday night.

The service was great. The food was not. Mussels were fine. Shrimp was slightly overcooked but good overall. The crawfish were awful. Normally we get the live crawfish but they didnt have them so we got the frozen ones. Literally inedible. The sausage is normally good but it tasted like it it had been cooked for a period of about 3 hours. Just mushy and texturally awful. The potatoes were probably the best bite of everything. The corn was mid. Eggs were just ok. The snow crab was ok.

The Boiling Crab in Burbank can be a bit of a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned, while other times it doesn’t quite have the same flavor. The service can be inconsistent as well — some visits are great, others not as smooth.

That said, when everything hits, it’s really good, and that’s what keeps us coming back. Overall, it’s still a fun spot for seafood lovers who don’t mind a little inconsistency.
