Wonderful pleasant place to stay while visiting Anchorage. Quiet neighborhood quick walk to the public bus line that goes directly to downtown. |The hosts are so friendly, room very clean and tidied up daily, wonderful breakfast. |Entrance is separate from living quarters of the hosts so plenty of privacy if desired. |Highly recommend! Much greater experience than the local hotels and much more affordable! Meeting and talking with Mike made our trip that much more memorable.

Stayed here for four nights for a family reunion. The couple who run the place are nice and breakfast was delicious. The husband is from Alaska and his wife is from Vietnam. They met during the Vietnam war. My brother and I stayed in the Twin Peaks room and while not fancy, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served at 0800 family style where you go up and put what you want on your plate, sit down at a very fancy hand carved table and eat. The place is located about 10 minutes from the airport in a regular neighborhood.

My partner and I booked a one night stay at Summerset at the end of July this year just to have a place to sleep before our flight out of Anchorage the next day. It wasn't much more expensive than some of the questionable hotels around the airport and it ended up being a wonderful experience! A huge homemade breakfast from Kim and we got to sit down and visit with the other guests and hosts to share experiences of Alaska. The home was very cozy and comfortable and in a nice neighborhood within 10-15 minutes of the airport. Within walking distance to a few restaurants down a sweet creek path for dinner. It was all incredibly above and beyond my expectations, I would highly recommend a stay at Summerset!

My buddy and I were passing through town on our way to the Kenai peninsula. We stayed at Summerset for one night in the twin peaks room. It was great. Our host and her husband were wonderful. Hot coffee and a full homemade breakfast got the day off to a great start. Our host even made sure we were all set when we came back into town to catch our flight. They definitely went above and beyond as hosts. I would stay here again.

This is the most amazing B&B ever. The hosts are so nice and generous. The breakfast was so elegant and delicious. Very safe location. Great area to relax in the family room. I would definitely recommend Summerset B& B.

We booked this place 2 days before our departure from Bangkok. For 3 nights July 13-16. Being peak season with limited availability across hotels The b&b hotline in anchorage is a good contact for last minute booking. Our stay was made comfortable by the hosts who maintain it very well. Fantastic breakfast by Kim and help from Mike made the stay a memorable one

We stayed with Michael and Kim Anh twice. It’s a marvelous place to stay. Extremely clean and comfortable, close to the airport (10 minutes) and guesses have their own entrance. The food and conversation is the best. As long as they are available, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Be sure to ask Kim Anh about her family heirlooms.

We stayed at the Summerset for five nights. First, Kim and Mike are excellent hosts, easy to talk with and very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfasts were beautifully displayed as well as superb. The rooms were exceptionally clean. We will return to Summerset the next time we are in Anchorage. We could not have asked for anything better!
