Susitna Place was a fantastic base in Anchorage for us when we toured Alaska in June 2024. During a three-week vacation we stayed for a total of six nights at Susitna. It soon became a ‘home from home’ for us and the cornerstone of our travels in Alaska. Monica and Steve were very welcoming and provided lots of information about Anchorage and Alaska. We stayed in the Denali Suite for five of the nights, which was comfortable, spacious and very clean. We particularly loved the balcony with the views over the Cook Inlet. Breakfast was fantastic with a good choice of cereals, breads, fruit, yoghurt and a cooked option. We stayed in another very comfortable room for the other night after we had been to Seward for a couple of days. When we returned late at night from the Alaskan Railroad, Monica had left our stored luggage in the room, the lamps switched on, and everything cosy and welcoming. We would not hesitate to recommend Susitna Place as a base in Anchorage.

We stayed two separate nights here, first in the Illiamna Room and second in the Susitna Suite, both on the lower floor and both were nice but splurge for the suite if it's available! Views from the breakfast room are incredible, the food was fantastic. Loved the location to downtown, very easy and comfortable walk. The owner Monica and her friend Lori were lovely hosts, helpful and fun to talk to with lots of helpful tips. Recommend!

Stayed here with my daughter after a Princess cruise from Vancouver.|Had a lovely room with a balcony and view of the Cook Inlet. We were made very welcome. Breakfast was amazing, catered for all tastes.|We were also given plenty of local knowledge and it is just a short walk to the centre of Vancouver. You will not regret staying here.

This place was nothing short of amazing. We booked almost the entire B&B for my family that was traveling together. Monica was very accommodating, making sure she knew when everyone was arriving and leaving. She had coffee ready when we got there, and was ready with recommendations for food and things to do. When we walked into the common area the panoramic views were breathtaking. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Breakfast was a good spread with quiche, reindeer sausage, an assortment of breads, and more. I highly recommend staying here.

The BnB is so charming and the perfect place for a short stay in Anchorage. It’s an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants and our room was clean & felt like a hotel room! Monica was wonderful to meet 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, within walking distance to all the interesting Downtown locations. Monica provides everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay there again. Our family stayed in a downstairs room and a suite.

Extraordinary B&B! Modern amenities -- looks new and is absolutely luxurious. And on top of all that, has the best views possible with wrap around windows to take in the inlet and multiple levels of decks with outdoor seating.
Was easy - and a pleasure - working with the hosts to set up the reservation and coordinating our arrival!
You will not be disappointed staying here.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. An excellent breakfast was served every morning and our room was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning! Monica was very accommodating and is a great hostess. We would definitely stay here again!
