One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! I travel a lot for work and ended up in Bethesda so I decided to stay here. I accidentally goofed up my reservation, but I called and the staff were so nice and accommodating and helped me straighten everything out. The staff I encountered when I arrived and departed, as well as the bartender, were so nice.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. My favorite color is purple so I definitely appreciated the aesthetic. The rooms are big and clean, and the gym was WONDERFUL. There is also a roof top pool with a lifeguard on duty. You can tell everything was well thought out in detail for appeal and accommodation.

Looking forward to staying here again when I’m back in the area!

A very trendy lobby and friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean, if a little underwhelming to look at. Everything was in working order although the hot water took a bit to warm up. The rooftop pool is pretty cool.

Very nice room. Love the two sided corner windows. Nice bathroom and shower. There was a steamer, hair dryer, scale and magnifying mirror. Loved the toiletries. Beds were very firm but comfortable. Room was serviced each day. It was very quiet, at least on the 15th floor.|Things not so great were the slow elevators. The parking situation. We had a large SUV and only parking was the few spots on the first level and we had pre-paid the $40 parking fee. Actually the roof top got scraped trying to find parking on the next level(it’s that low) and hit a post and dented my fender. Many smaller cars parked there taking up spaces for large ones.| Breakfast buffet was very good. It is similar to the kind you get at other hotel chains that include breakfast but just a step above (the bacon is not paper thin)……but if we had not had coupons I would never had paid $25 for it. Service was excellent.|Easy walking to lots of restaurants and 1/2 mile to metro stop

A nice property and the room was spacious with a nice bed. I give it a 3 star rating because I felt like they nickel and dimed us for basic things.

For example, at much cheaper properties, they make drip coffee available very early, often all night. At this property, it's only available starting at 6:30. Now, we could purchase espresso, but at $350 a night, is that reasonable?

Also, charging extra for parking, extra for breakfast, all in all I don't feel like the value was there.

Checking into The Bethesdian is a true pleasure. The location is not the sole reason I stay there. It’s the outstanding staff and there are a few folks I think deserve recognition. I Instantly feel appreciated and welcome thanks to Glenise. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years and she’s the best of the best. Fixing things with efficiency and a million dollar smile are always on display and she is a peerless ambassador for Hilton. |Another couple of standouts are the dynamic duo staffing the breakfast Gita and Marta are attentive, personable, and scrupulously ensuring the day starts right. They dependably follow up throughout a meal and the quality of service and presentation each morning are standouts as are Marta and Gita. It’s a property I always look forward to stay at and it never disappoints.

I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. We originally were going to stay in the la Quinta hotel in DC however we had a terrible check in experience. We got to the Bethesdan at 11pm and were quickly greeted and checked in. The room was phenomenal and extremely clean. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and the service was great. The breakfast buffet is well worth the $24 per person. The food was fresh and there was a large selection. We loved the bar/restaurant and the mini convenience center that was open 24 hours. Parking was convenient and easy. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff is extremely professional, polite, attentive. The lobby is gorgeous, elevators are prompt and smooth. The beds are extremely comfortable and cozy and pillows are plush and relaxing. Overall I give this place a 20/10 because it’s a great place to come and the food is amazing. Whiskey selection is bar none for sure. I will choose this place for my next stay should I need to stay in town again!!!

Unacceptable Conditions and Gross Negligence – AVOID This Location

The utter disregard for guest experience and basic operational standards at this establishment is nothing short of appalling. A complete absence of supervision is evident throughout the premises, and any attempts to address concerns are met with dismissive indifference.

The state of disrepair in the rooms is shocking, highlighted by a bathroom faucet literally detaching from its fixture. The inability to provide essential amenities, such as additional pillows, due to housekeeping having "left for the night" is a testament to a profound lack of foresight and guest service.

Furthermore, the parking situation is unacceptable, forcing guests to park across the street in a demonstrably questionable and unsafe area after dark.

DO NOT STAY HERE. A brand-new Marriott stands next door, offering a stark contrast in quality. While this property may bear the Hilton name, it unequivocally fails to meet any recognizable Hilton standard. As for the "Tapestry Collection," perhaps they should invest in actual tapestries to adorn this dingy hotel, which is marred by chipping paint and an overall dilapidated appearance.

This hotel is an absolute disaster. IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. You will undoubtedly leave feeling angry and profoundly disappointed.

You know what. I don't always give a 5, but this stay was great. The rooms were a little pricey but I had an awesome time here. Plenty of walkable things to do from the hotel.
Slept great, clean rooms and quiet....didn't hear a peep. If I'm back in town I will definitely be staying here. Ty

Most hotels do big things right but it's the little things that can ruin a stay. I will never return b/c after driving 1,000 miles I asked for water bottle and they told me no. I asked for coffee after paying over 1/2 thousand dollars for 3 nights and was told no. They told me b/c I'm not silver, gold, platinum member etc... I have to pay. I looked at the person and said if a few dollars is what your management prefers over a returning client, then you can keep your coffee, water and not to worry as I won't ever come back. The room is also backwards configured, the bedroom should be where the main room is. Finally, they never sent me a follow-up about my stay, you think they knew and didn't want the bad press...?
