Absolutely gorgeous cabin tucked away in the beautiful wilderness surrounding Wrangell St Elias National Park.

Luann was an excellent host. Overall, very clean b&b. No breakfast and a little dated with lots of potential to probably be the cutest B&B ever.

Would stay again!! Host is an absolute charm.

This place was comfortable and basically fit our needs. There is no privacy in the triple room with rec room. The room includes the owner's Office Space a small Workshop and open Stairway to the upstairs of the house which apparently someone is living in. The private Deluxe Queen Suite was nice but the kitchenette area could use a good cleaning. The coffee maker looks like it has not been cleaned in quite a while and there was food stuck to the inside of the microwave. As for the breakfast part there was two packs of instant oatmeal and a granola bar. Not my idea of a bed and breakfast breakfast. Also these rooms are in the basement so you do have to carry your luggage down a few steps. All in all it was nice with a beautiful view.

I stayed in the bottom floor of the pictured home. Listing is accurate on the site. Please know that they can make adjustments in the space to accommodate 1 to 8 people. Owners Gary and Lou Ann were very helpful and enjoyable to chat with. There aren't that many options in Copper Center area, but this home was fantastic. Well furnished kitchen and bath, and very comfortable bed. Book with confidence!

We spent two weeks on Alaska. This was clearly our favorite motel or cabin. All but one was good and that one was terrible. Sawing Logs had it all - Friendly staff and outstanding service. The apartment was huge. We had plenty of snacks, a super king bed, good TV, and a personal touch. Oh, the location was great - just off the Richardson Highway and very close to the Wragnell-St. Elias NP Visitor's Center. I have nothing to say about his accommodation that is not 10 star out of 10. I recommend you include this locale of Alaska in your next Alaska vacation and be sure to stay in Sawing Logzz.

This is an absolutely beautiful log home, built and crafted with love! If walls could talk! Gary was a delight, so kind and welcoming! My husband was here on business and I enjoyed hanging out everyday in the quiet beautiful setting! I enjoyed cooking in my little kitchen and playing games at the table every night. My husband is a woodworker and loved chatting with Gary about his building experiences. Incredible! Will stay here again when we are back in the area! Great place to bring a large family as well!

We had a great stay at Sawing Lodges,||really nice and great rooms downstairs for the 3 off us. Coffee and Oatmeal's is available for a small breakfast, very clean and need. A onderfull place and Luann is a great host

Great location. Quiet setting , nice base of operations for visiting Wrangle St Elias and Kennicott Mill. The shuttle to McArthy pics you right up at the house!
LuAnn was super helpful with lots of recommendations for activities.

Stayed at this B&B in the winter of 2013. Very hospitable and respectful owners. Their cabin is AMAZING and they love to show people around. Lots of goodies stocked in the mini fridge and better amenities than you will find most other places, including TV. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Enjoy Alaska!
