Hailey was our server and she was fantastic! She was attentive and prompt with her service. She recommended the fish fry which we both tried and really enjoyed the deep fried cod.

The haystack onion rings we're good but a little thick compared to my favorite ones.

The pretzel bites were subpar compared to Culver's. They were good even if they didn't have salt on them.

I liked the coleslaw and the rye bread were both tasty.

The fried cod was very good. The batter was crispy and the fish flavorful and Flaky.

The loaded baked potato was flavorful and had REAL bacon on it!

I would definitely have it again on a Friday night.

I came and scoped out the place before the lunch hour and talked with the Manager and Kitchen manager to see how food was prepared because of our unique diet needs. The kitchen manager was amazing and he knew their food products very well. We don't eat pork or shrimp, and their kitchen setup allows them to prepare most of the food separately. Anything fried (fried chips, French fries, etc) is a no-go because of the shrimp cross contamination. We returned after the lunch hour to order our food. My children loved their meals. My 7 year old gobbled the chicken salad that they made specifically for him. Our waitress was very good. The music was too loud and lyrics were too annoying for our party. If we are in Plover tho, and need a place to eat, I would definitely return.

The food was tasty but...
The burgers are about the size of a fast food burger. I was expecting more the size of Milwaukee Burger. Especially for the price.
They obviously want you to fill up on fries or chips as you get a large portion of those. Although it's an extra charge for fries.
The posted pictures of the burgers are deceiving. They really are small.

Two burgers, one with chips, one with an upcharge for fries, 2 glasses of water, 2 slices of cheesecake.
Total bill $51 not including tip.
Not trying to be stingy, but with a bill like this I'm not tipping 20% anymore. No matter how good the service is.
I personally don't recommend Monk's.

We had a great lunch date at Monks. The cheesecurds were delicious and options of sides for our meal was chips, potato or fries were great. My BBQ chicken wrap was good and filling.

Enjoyed our food, and the service was good! We came on a slower night, so there was barely anyone here.

Food we ordered:
- Bruschetta Hummus Plate
So delicious! Tasted very fresh, and I wanted more.

- Fried Pickles
It was good. I think we ordered a half order.

- Daily Special Burger
Super yummy. This was a special burger that they had. There was a sunny side up egg, slices of ham, and pulled pork. Side sauce of BBQ sauce, and some potato chips on the side. Chips were a bit stale, as if they've been sitting for a while.

- Crispy Chicken Mac'n Cheese
Super cheesy and delicious! Hot sauce on the side for extra flavor.

Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would come here again to try more things.

Was staying at the nearby Americinn and ordered take out for the kids and I. The order came relatively quickly and was packaged correctly. Burger was ordered as medium and was overcooked but not overly dry. Tator tots and fries remained crispy.

We had hoped to have lunch, have a couple of drinks and watch Wisconsin Badgers play round one in the NCAA tournament game. Of the 12 tv’s in bar area the Badger game was only on one TV that was located at far end (not great visibility). I asked the bartender if we could get game on a tv with better viewing. I was told that it could not be changed. People sitting next to us said they had also made the request with the same response. Unfortunately one of our favorite local places to eat, get a drink, and watch a game is a bit farther down our list . We went to another bar and grill to watch the game and get lunch.

The food and atmosphere were great. It was a nice quiet Sunday dinner. The beer cheese soup was outstanding!
The service was good but we felt rushed as they brought boxes to the table about ten minutes after we got our food.
