Only thing is they don't give people with evictions a chance to even rent for a few nights. Or anything other then that they're pretty good , they use to rent to people with evictions I think but I got a clean record I just got eviction barring me from everywhere so it's very difficult now.

Thought it looked cute... from the outside. Took my family to Wisconsin rapids on a work trip and the whole town is very sketchy. We needed a money order for a motel. Down the street we needed to give 20 in cash for a down payment. 19 out of 20 stores are shut down. Not a town even bothering with. It's quite obvious the place has lost all trust in humanity and each other to the point that using a card and ID is unacceptable. I will sleep the next town over and drive extra just to avoid it here. I feel bad for the owners. Not enough to drive extra for a money order. Just enough to pray they find a safer and happier place to live

Ended up with a couple months stay here a while ago and was a good experience. The rooms are somewhat dated and it shows its age. That being said everything worked and they were very nice. No bedbugs or other issues in the room. I would recommend for long term stays.

I had the best experience in this motel over any other place we stayed in Wisconsin. Management is friendly, there are full sized ovens with stove tops, kitchen sink and full size fridge, bathroom area was very nice, the moose heads on the walls gave it a definite cabin feel and my kids loved the duck pond with the rubber ducks in it. Also with it being across the street from Kwik trip, it's perfect.

We had originally stayed at The Camelot Motel. Which I suggest, no-one even calls there. It was dirty, small, stinky, and very outdated. You cannot even control the heat in your own room. The owner controls it from inside her house. I did not feel comfortable there at all!
We then booked a room here. This place is heaven compared to Camelot. The owner is a very nice. The price is very reasonable. And I am so comfortable here, it's like home.
They are located close to amenities and have many designated areas outside for cookouts, horseshoes, basketball, fire pits, and a pool.
It's a great place.

Family had been staying there for 10 years for deer hunting in November. This time my room smelled like an ash tray. Owner denied it, all of us could smell it. Owner gave me the key to a "spare" room and left. Room had no towels and multiple window blinds were missing, forcing me to hang a sheet over the window. Looks like it was used for storage, not guests.

They have apparently closed with no notice to guests who made reservations months ago. My dad has been trying to confirm his reservations for weeks. I tried to call and also went there to see if I got any answers. I sent them a message on Facebook and got this response. "Maples Motel has closed.
The new name is "Snooze"
They are operating only as an Airbb so you have to book through that. No phone number.
No office. No housekeeping."

I stayed in this family owned, family friendly motel for 3 nights during the off season in December. The manager Kate, was down to earth, accommodating, very nice and out going. The cleaning ladies were friendly and also accommodating.
The room was warm, clean, had a king size bed, bath tub w/shower, microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot and had recently been updated. It was very cozy and welcoming on these extremely cold winter nights. The price was reasonable and I will definitely stay here again. Maybe in summer next time so I can take advantage of the outdoor heated pool. There are a lot of other amenities during the summer months to enjoy as well.
This motel is also centally located in the city so you are close to so many other things, like shopping, gas stations, banks, 24 hour laundromat, good places to eat. One of my favorites is right across the street and within walking distance called Sportsman's Pub. There is also and awesome hospital with a great night shift staff about a mile away. Its good to know, but I hope you don't need to use it.
You can have a lot of fun in this great little city. It also has a super disc golf course for those of you that like to play located nearby at beautiful Lake Wazeecha.
