The food was amazing. I got the Keller omelet and they fried the hash browns perfectly!
Be aware of their peak times. There isn't really a waiting area so if you have a wait it's uncomfortable standing in the way. Come early or come after to avoid the wait. The food was worth it though! I felt bad they were so slammed and the waitresses had a hard time keeping up.

My review is based on my last 3 visits here since I usually give a place three tries before reviewing.
First time here was great. Waitress was great and fast, food was good. Was a Friday so a small wait but not too bad.
Second visit was one star at best. The place was packed with a long wait. And it was hot in that building. No AC? Bad service with different waitress. Food was gross and we asked for refills, she took the sodas and never returned with them. Long waits, just horrible.
Third visit was better. We had a guy this time and he was quick to serve. Food was good. But I'm sorry, but it felt like 90 degrees or something in there. Super hot. For how much we pay there should be AC or some sort of cooling happening. It was nicer outside.

Kathi and her staff were wonderful to work with!

They catered our wedding on Saturday and we received so many compliments, not only on food, but also on her team!

She made sure to break down everything with us, as well as keep us updated with time and how the buffet was going to work!

Chat-R-Box was great and we would recommend them to everyone looking for great service!

Met there for breakfast with the girls. We all had the buffet and enjoyed it. The waitress was very nice and even took our picture.

There is a down home quality to the place. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! The food is excellent, with a variety of offerings and daily specials. Of you go for breakfast, you must try Dad's pancakes with the Chat-R-Box secret "Wicked Sauce!" The Eggs Benedict are another favorite. You will not be disappointed!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a good fish fry....this was GREAT! We got the family meal, came with hush puppies and choice of 2 sides. Got the cheesy potatoes YUM! And side salad....I dont think "side" is the right word...it was HUGE...crispy and fresh! Was plenty of food for a family of 4 (even had some leftovers) at a very reasonable price! We will definitely be back👍👍👍👍👍

This diner is a gem! The breakfast was awesome and so was the service and atmosphere! Super clean restaurant with friendly and prompt staff! I hope to try their catering one day as I hear it's great too. Going to their fish fry next!

Fish fry at the Chat-r-box is second to none. Even during these times when it is tough to go places, they maintain great distancing. The whole staff is masked up and everything. Now onto the food, which is probably why you have read this far. The fish fry here is phenomenal. To experience this to the fullest you need to order it in the restaurant and eat it there. When we have got this as a togo order sometimes the fries would be a little soggy and the fried cod would have lost a little crunch. Eating it fresh from the frier was the best way and I only had 3 soggy fries and that was because they said under the fish. Highly recommend this place. Side note, they even include hush puppies which are also great.
