I can't say enough good things about Chef David's. We got married in November and they had great suggestions for food. The tasting was awesome. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was. I think it might have been their favorite part of the night. We also had someone with dietary needs and they did an amazing job of taking care of it. That particular guest was very appreciative. I would highly recommend using them.

I needed to provide a lunch for a small group of family to celebrate my engagement. I had a very limited budget. From the first moment, they were more courteous, more personable and more personal in their handling of the event than anyone else I talked to. They are the most professional of the local caterers I have found, with a solid online presence and a good, active relationship with the better business bureau. They were also honest about their standards and what they were willing to provide. They focus on quality. Even so, they were able to give me a quote within $20 of my target budget. I was expecting the food to be good. What I wasn't expecting was the quality of the presentation. Even though it was just sandwiches, so much care went into making the food look good and not like it was just thrown together. I was very happy with the experience. It really helped make the day that much more special. Thank you!!

Chef David’s team was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding this summer! I (the bride) am vegan, and Chef David went above and beyond to make sure that we had several vegan and meat options for us and our guests. They helped us create a menu that was not only delicious, but that was also within our budget. We had nearly 100 guests and heard from everyone that the food was fantastic and many guests told us that it was “the best wedding food they have ever had…” and we agree!! Chef David’s team was also so patient with us during some venue changes and with our limited venue space.

Food was a very important aspect of our wedding and having high-quality, delicious food with a variety of options was one of our top priorities in the planning process. We could not be happier with how our dinner and appetizers turned out!

Chef David’s Catered Events: I tend to strictly adhere to my diet, but I do feast on my birthday, weekly cheat day, and major celebrations (such as a holiday or wedding). On 9/12 I attended the wedding of my youngest brother and it certainly qualified as an occasion to let loose.

Appetizers: The appetizers included a few different crackers, breads, meats, and cheeses. I needed to save room for dinner, so I stuck with trying the pigs in a blanket with bier cheese. I’m not a huge hot dog fan, but the combination and flavor of the breading with the beer cheese was quite good. Doughboy approved

Black Angus Sirloin: I’m really picky when it comes to steak, but this was fantastic. The server shaved it right there in front of you (buffet style). Doughboy approved

Wisconsin Red Skinned Garlic Mashed Potatoes: There are certain foods that you really have to try hard to mess up or else they’re always good (for example pizza or mashed potatoes). This was bomb though; creamy, buttery, and an inoffensive amount of garlic. Doughboy approved

Caramelized Carrots: My friends and family know I’m like Bugs Bunny when it comes to carrots. I’ve always liked raw carrots because of the crunch and despised soft and mushy cooked carrots. The good thing is that although these were cooked, they were not mushy and the flavor from the caramelized process was superb. Doughboy approved

Couscous: I found this stuff to be a little bland and not all that great. Not terrible either, just nothing really noteworthy or exciting. Just Okay

My husband and I use Chef David’s catering for our wedding based on the recommendation of a few people. We could not be more happy with how everything turned out. They are extremely flexible and accommodating as well as very kind! Their staff is wonderful and super hard working. The food is to die for! Everything was delicious and we received tons of compliments on how delicious everything was! I would highly highly recommend you use Chef David’s for all your catering needs!

Chef David's Catering was the upmost phenomenal catering experience I've ever been involved with. From the moment I called to inquire about our event the professional manner was displayed. We were planning an elegant backyard wedding dinner for close friends and family. Cathy helped me put together our dinner selection and let me tell you it was perfect. When we talked about dessert options Chef David himself offered up the most delicious Key Lime Cheesecake this side of Florida. The entire staff was professional and courteous. Carly was simply amazing to work with as well. Chef David, his wife Cathy, Carly and their staff arrived on time and served us and our guest the most delicious meal. All of our guests and ourselves were incredibly impressed with the meal and of course the dessert. After dinner was served Chef himself came out to greet us and our guests. I would so have them cater another event and I would recommend them without any reservations at all. Great working with you and your team Chef.

my wife and I used Chef David’s to cater our wedding (Nov 2023) and we could not have been happier with the everything! From the initial planning process, they were quick to respond, lovely to work with, and understanding of budget (unlike the other few places we had reached out to). Then on top of it.. the FOOD was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I couldn’t even tell you how many people complimented our food that night and in the days following. The staff the night of the wedding was also so friendly and helpful. Nothing but good things to say, highly recommend! Thank you guys for everything!!
