We had a wonderful experience at Black Walnut. The check-in and out was smooth. Our room was clean, unique, and beautiful. We stayed in the couples honeymoon room. The two-seater whirlpool tub was really fun and the fireplace was cozy. The breakfast was always on time and delicious! Coffee options were also excellent. Can’t rave enough about this place!

What a lovely place! It’s hard to find places to stay where animals are not allowed (we’re both allergic) so we decided to try a B&B for a change. It was a contactless check in, and was very organized and well thought out. The room was quaint, with all the normal necessities (fridge, microwave). Breakfast was on a cart at the door, with fresh flowers and great food. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available at all times. All of the little extra touches were so sweet! We’ll definitely be staying there again!

The Black Walnut is a gem! We spent our honeymoon in the Cozy Cabin room and loved it. Breakfast was always tasty and thoughtfully put together. The hosts were kind, attentive, and friendly. Overall it was an awesome experience!

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast.
We stayed for one night in the Honeymoon Suite and everything was so nice. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the jacuzzi tub was so nice. I loved the curved stairway up to the where the jacuzzi tub was and the nice view from there as well. Everything in the room was unique and felt like you stepped back in time. The breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the fresh cherry juice. Also a really nice walk to downtown.
We will definitely be making a return visit in the future!

We came to celebrate our anniversary and had the honeymoon suite and it was amazing. The rooms had character and very quiet. The tower to the hot tub was beautiful along with the views. Breakfast was amazing and was nice as it was delivered to our room, definitely felt pampered. We plan on making this bed and breakfast our place for future anniversaries. It’s also in a great location walking distance to a coffee shop and shopping.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Black Walnut Guest House Bed & Breakfast in the Beach Cottage Suite.
We were working in Sturgeon Bay, and are so happy to have found the Black Walnut Guest House B&B.
Our room was SO cozy, and had everything we needed after a long day of work. Our breakfast was delivered to our door at the time we specified. The cart had everything that we had ordered, and was delicious!
We are booked for next week, as we are again working in town, and I also booked two nights as a surprise for my husband, to celebrate his birthday in May.
Don't hesitate to make your reservations here. It truly is a gem of a place!

My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Such a unique room especially the whirlpool tub in the turret of the room and the fireplace. Very clean.

We stayed at the Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast last week. Shareen was very helpful before we arrived with suggestions of things to do in Door County. The location is great for beginning your visit there. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. But the best part is the breakfast!! Shareen gives options for you to choose from, and everything our group had was delicious!! We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Thank you Tom and Shareen for a wonderful stay.
