Our son gifted us a stay at this lovely B&B that made for a great anniversary weekend in Lake Geneva. The home was decorated with period Victorian furnishings, while still offering plenty of modern conveniences and comforts. The breakfast souffles and pastries with fresh berries and fruit were perfect. The coffee was good too. The downtown area, shops, restaurants are all within convenient walking distance. The lady who owned this garden spot was Maureen, a lovely person and a great hostess.

We enjoyed our recent stay at this historic B&B. The location is perfect for downtown shopping and dining, and the place is packed with antiques. As noted in many of these reviews, Maureen is a wonderful host and made us feel like family!

Maureen is a gem of a human. Classic midwestern charm. Her attention to detail and hospitality are top notch. The B&B is centrally located, walking distance to Geneva Lake and downtown. The décor is antique and personal. My wife and I stayed in the room with the queen sized bed and claw foot tub. The bed was very comfortable. The room was small, and the window AC unit was on full blast. The room stayed nice and cool but there is a constant white noise. Didn't bother me, but could be an issue for some. The bathroom is gigantic. There is no shortage of hot water! Everything was very clean. We would highly recommend this B&B, especially those looking for a personal touch.

The B&B is an excellent place to stay while in Lake Geneva. It is very cute, Maureen is excellent, and it is right in the downtown area. The room we had was great and the breakfast was very tasty. Parking was easy and there are plenty of restaurants all around and lots to do.

This was an excellent experience. The breakfasts that Maureen provided were excellent, the first day an egg soufflé and the second day French toast, with an abundance of fruits, good coffee, and pastries. The house and our room were well furnished and well kept. Additionally we very much enjoyed spending time with her during and after breakfast. As we looked for something to do while we were in town, she suggested that we take one of the cruises on Lake Geneva. We were very pleased with the one she suggested—the 2 hour tour around the entire lake.

Such a lovely stay at TC Smith Historic BnB. I felt like I knew Maureen, our host before we even arrived. The rooms are quite ornate preserving a good deal of history. We loved the claw foot tub as well as the jetted shower. Maureen prepared a great breakfast where we visited with her and the other guests. The location is ideal within walking distance to shopping and dining. Thank you for a warm and welcoming stay.

My wife and I wanted to break up the dreariness of winter in Wisconsin. Thus, we scheduled a last-moment, get-away trip to Lake Geneva that coincided with Valentine's Day. The TC Smith Historic Inn B&B intrigued us, and it was within easy walking distance of some activities (e.g. cooking school) that interested us. So, we booked a two-night stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Our room was clean, quiet and nicely appointed. The innkeeper (Maureen) presented us with an Anthurium plant as a Valentine's Day gift. We were the only guests at the Inn while staying there (it was mid-week), which kept the pace of breakfast quite relaxed. We very much enjoyed chatting with Maureen over her wonderful breakfast and coffee. ||The guest rooms are on the second floor of the Inn. My wife and I had no difficulty navigating the stairway, but this is something that some guests might want to be aware of in advance.||I don't know when we will next visit Lake Geneva, but we are sure that we won't hesitate to stay again at the TC Smith Historic Inn.

My wife and I stayed here in 2012 and decided to finally get back this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect. We were greeted by Maureen and showed around this incredible historic place from the inside to the outside and beautiful garden around the house. Her homemade breakfast each morning is incredible from the bake goods, fresh fruit, French toast and delicious egg and veggie plate. Real fresh juice and coffee made it complete. You can not go wrong by which room you choose to stay in as they all are uniquely decorated and very comfortable. We didn’t need to drive anywhere once we were there everything you need is within walking distance. Excellent restaurants, shops and Riviera Beach is right there. We enjoyed sitting and chatting with Maureen on several occasions. Needless to say we are not waiting another 11 years to go back we will be going back in June. Thank you Maureen for your incredible hospitality. The best getaway we ever had. See you soon. Mark and Laurie.
