I had a wonderful stay at Stone Creek Lodge as a solo traveler. I felt very safe here, which is so important when traveling alone. The lodge was exceptionally clean, modern, and quiet, providing the perfect environment to relax after a day of exploring. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is unbeatable, with its close proximity to the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit the area in the future! Highly recommend.

What a truly beautiful home away from home!! We booked the Polar Express package and were not disappointed. They are so accommodating and even provided a copy of the book, two conductor hats, and candy canes to take with us on the train ride! Our family cabin was warm and toasty when we arrived. The decor was so perfect and it was well stocked with all the essentials. My 5-year old fell in love with the bunk bed and keeps asking when we can get one for our house. My 15-year old who is not easily impressed can’t stop talking about how “cute” everything was. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely be coming back!

Stone Creek Lodge feels like our second home, always so welcoming and relaxing. Fun to meet visitors in town for weekend or even a longer stay. Local food has increased in choices but still not as many as the trails near by. Cabin’s mini kitchen can help prepare some wonderful treats during your stay. Ashford is blessed to have this location and owners in their town.

Our family had an incredible weekend staying at Stone Creek Lodge and visiting Mount Rainier. The location is amazing for convenience and the grounds are beautiful and spacious. We got to see all the fall-blooming flowers and my kids liked running around the grassy areas. There are Adirondack chairs to relax in and picnic tables outside the cabin. Our cabin was immaculate and super cute and cozy, and the beds were so comfortable which we especially appreciated after hiking! Even the complimentary coffee and snacks were great. Joe and Bob are stupendous humans and hosted us like were visiting them as friends. They have a full library of games to lend out and trekking poles to borrow. We loved the evening bonfires and the smores they provide and looking at the stars while they point out the Milky Way and various satellites. Joe and Bob are a wealth of knowledge about the trails in the park and offer great tips and recommendations to optimize the park experience. There is no cooking in the unit but they were happy to lend us an extension cord and we set up an air fryer on the outside table so it worked just fine for us. Sound travels easily through the wall between the duplex units but they are mindful of letting guests know that and while we could hear our neighbors, there weren’t any problems as everyone was respectful. This was a great trip with lovely accommodations and we feel so lucky that we got to stay here. Highly recommend Stone Creek Lodge! Thank you Joe and Bob!

Though it’s rated a 2-star hotel but we would definitely rated it a 5-star one! Perfect location and excellent hospitality. We had a family activity for the Polar Express in Mt.Rainier Scenic Railroad. We got several souvenirs including the themed book which matches the bell we received from the Santa. What a great surprise!

There are not enough words to describe how magical and incredible this lodge is. Not only is it super quiet and peaceful, it is located less than 5 mins away from the Mt. Rainier park entrance. We met the owners personally and they were always there to help and answer any questions we had. The cabin was also equipped with some snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, kitchen utensils, bathroom toiletries. I can’t wait to return again in the future! 💚🌲

Wonderful cottages just outside the Paradise park entrance. Quiet and great night sky views. Cabin was cozy and modern...all new and beautifully done. Loved the hot tub too!
