Very comfortable bed and bedding. Very restful. The toiletries provided were quite nice. The glass art on each floor was very interesting and added to the overall experience. The hotel was easy to get to and surprisingly quiet. All this made for a restful experience.

Located in downtown Tacoma, WA., convenient and easy to find. Plenty of parking with several EV charging stations. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and nice artworks located throughout the main lobby and every floor!
Staff is helpful, polite, and friendly. The bar is nicely situated on the main floor. The bar staff are excellent! Rooms are spacious and expertly cleaned. Some of the floor carpets areas are a bit worn and could be replaced, but that is the only negative comment I have about this excellent hotel.

Pros: in the art district so very nice area. The hotel is decent. Cons: Our A/C didn’t work. I asked if I could switch rooms but was told the hotel was full. We found hair clips and hair bows behind the couch. So they don’t clean well. I had to call multiple times for towels. The phone frequently rings at the front desk with no answer. The elevators take forever. Called for a microwave never received on and no on called back. I went to the front desk and I was told no one put one in for me. I am very picky about where I stay this was a very disappointing experience especially when the reviews were good which is why I booked here.

It is so nice to come to a hotel and look around and see cleanliness. I work in the cleaning industry and so often find that places I stay don’t keep up on the dusting or regular details of cleaning. I am turned off by the missed effort that staff can put in. Yet this staff does not just sit around, instead there are using their extra time efficiently making the place look tip top for its guests. It’s beautiful here. Nicely done!!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over five years ago, and it was a remarkable experience. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, we found the property to be quite run down and not to the same standard we remembered. The room was not clean, with toothpaste and other substances present on the walls and counters near the sink. Additionally, the bathroom door had numerous fingerprints, contributing to an overall feeling of uncleanliness.||||Upon arrival, I was surprised to see mobile security cameras in the parking lot, but I soon understood their presence when I discovered a spent bullet next to my car.||||Overall, I am very disappointed with our stay and the current condition of the hotel.

Beware of this hotel. My hotel room was robbed August 9th 2024. Stole everything except for 3 pairs of underwear. Called the police, had the police do a report, but the hotel did not give the police enough to investigate. Management initially told me they would give me a 25% discount for my stay which is insane. The hotel insurance company sedgwick got involved initially telling me this would be quick to settle. They dragged it out for 5 months to tell me that they would not be compensating me for my property. It took months to be able to get the police report to basically say nothing. There's no security cameras in the elevator or hallways. Only at the reception area. I tried to get how many keys were active and when the room was accessed. I would be very cautious about staying at this hotel, keeping your property in the room or out in you vehicle cause of high crime.

This place is a shabby has-been that's clearly showing its age. I booked this place because I'd attended a conference there 7-8 years ago and remembered it seemed like a cool place, but literally nothing has changed there in all that time, except everything is worn out and desperately needs an update. Stained and bunched-up carpeting, dim and flickering lights, gruff and unfriendly staff, no sheer curtains in the rooms, elevators that take more than 15 minutes to get you down from the tower, no inexpensive food options, no room service or any explanation of how to get food other than a terse explanation from the desk that the restaurant is on the fourth floor. I was so disappointed. I wanted to like this place, but it was just awful.
