The Club has nice heated outdoor pool that offers swimming lessons and lap swimming. Located on the south end of the island with gorgeous views on the lake Washington. The getting there after sunset can be difficult for inexperienced drivers - the narrow, curve road is unlighted.

CARELESS LIFEGUARDS!!!
I had a boating accident which ripped off several layers of skin and fractured my fingers and I have a severe bleeding disorder. When I went to the lifeguards they did not care whatsoever even after being informed of my bleeding disorder, then proceeded to leave my teenage friends and I in the office unsupervised to figure out my medical emergency. If my friends were not lifeguards at different pools, my injuries would have been a lot worse. The lifeguards are unqualified and careless at the pool and do not care about medical emergencies. I cannot fathom to think about what would've happened if we didn't know what to do or were children.

I have to add this comment due to the safety concern... as a parent. The club has very nice outdoor swimming pools and they offer swimming lessons for kids so we were lucky enough to get a spot in a group lessons for beginners (like 4-5 years old). Being there with my boy for about two weeks.. I noticed that their lifeguards on duty are very unprofessional. There was ONLY one lifeguard (a male lifeguard with longer hair and wearing a Hawaii style shirt) actually checked with each coach and made sure he knows the kids who were part of the lessons and who were just out there swimming by themselves and he didn't bring his cell phone, he didn't chat with other people when he was on duty, he walked around and scan around like a radar. I feel like this is the basic requirement for a lifeguard on duty. Apparently, I also noticed that a couple of other lifeguards seems like high school or college students who treat this job more casually.. they have their cell phone in hand, sometimes texted a few seconds, they care which radio station/music they play, they chat with people onsite(other staff), they spent more than 2 minutes to figure out how to position the umbrella...Accidents in the water happen quickly and even 10 seconds are very important...I sincerely hope the management team would retrain those lifeguards and make sure they understand how important their job is and perform their job responsibilities in a professional manner. It's not like other casual summer camp job. Also, I didn't see AED equipment onsite or maybe it's located in their office? I am not exaggerating. I have taken pictures and videos but not want to share them here as I know the lifeguards might be some kids live on the island too and they also work hard (just need to be well trained and perform the job in a more professional way). The management team needs to take this seriously and take actions before any god forbid accident happened. PLEASE!

Pristine and super maintained private club with all the amenities one could ever ask for - indoor and outdoor pools, top quality barbecues, ample covered sitting areas, mini-beach too with swimming dock and twirly water slide, food canteen, and best of all, spectecular and serene views of the sound and shores across. Be lucky and get invited here, you will not regret it!
