👍 Reviews of L'Experience Paris - Mercer Island

The interior design of this place was great, and the atmosphere was lovely, but the desserts were disappointing, and the restroom was dirty.

The coffee was decent, but the small dessert I ordered had an extremely dry outer layer. I couldn’t tell if it was due to the dough itself, being left out for too long, or if it was intentional, but it felt dry with every bite.

Brunch reviews seem to be more positive, so I would recommend having a meal with coffee instead.

Even though I visited in the morning, the restroom was already dirty. There were yellow stains around the toilet, and the toilet paper was not on the holder but placed on top of it.

The pastries on display look old, but what comes out is new and delicious.
I had an almond croissant and a sandwich called La, California. Both are delicious.
Personally, I prefer the almond cream to be a bit sweeter, but it is good enough.
Sandwiches were good baguettes.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice.
I felt the plants would make the place even more wonderful.
Likewise the Issaquah store, I like the atmosphere and the French blue here.

The cashier lady was nice and calm.

The espresso was possibly a medium roast. I ordered a latte, but I could taste the milk.
I didn't find it to be acidic, which I prefer. I think it is a well adjusted and extracted espresso with a good balance of bitterness.

Overall, I like it.

The pastries and coffee at L' Experience Paris were enjoyable, and the display of their desserts was certainly eye-catching. However, the price point felt a bit steep. I paid $45 for two coffees, two croissants, and two small desserts. While the quality was good, it might be more of a special occasion treat rather than a regular stop, especially considering the Mercer Island location. Overall, a nice experience, but be prepared for the cost.

Loved the details in ambience of this place. Nice display of all their retail products and food & drinks that are available for dine-in/takeout. Ample seating inside and a few chairs outdoors too. Friendly and courteous staff. Got a latte and chocolate croissant as they were out of all others. Liked the Latte, it was well balanced in taste neither too bitter nor too bland. I was surprised when touching croissant and finding it cold. They didn’t ask anything (to warm up) while taking order which is not common when you order a croissant unless the place doesn’t have ability to warm up. Since I took a bit already didn’t want to send back for warming up. Got one of their fruit flavored spreads and a dark chocolate bar, both came up to the mark in taste. Most of the stuff is written in french which is totally fair given its a French store but I expected English translations or the staff to be able to help me understand what those names/ingredients mean. Both the staff were like me with their French vocab so google translation was the rescue.

During my visit to Seattle from Paris, I was eager to visit French Bakeries for the holidays. The near by L’Experience Paris bakery that claims to offer a unique experience from Paris was too good to be true but sadly, my experience was far from what I had hoped for, leaving me quite disappointed.

What happened to the viennoiserie?! The nice developed and flaky pain au chocolat from place de l’Opera. I was left with a mediocre over price flat something… nothing really much like Paris.

In conclusion, L’Experience Paris promises a Parisian experience in Seattle, but unfortunately, it falls short on delivery. With better management and a focus on quality, it could potentially fulfill its promise. However, for now, I cannot recommend this bakery to anyone seeking an authentic taste of Paris. Save your time and money for a place that truly delivers on its claims.

If you're seeking an authentic taste of Parisian cuisine without the need for a plane ticket, L'Experience Paris is your passport to culinary delight. Nestled in the heart of the city of lights, this restaurant offers more than just food; it's an experience that teleports diners to the bustling streets and quaint cafes of Paris.

From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that oozes charm and sophistication. The decor, with its elegant French accents and cozy ambiance, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu at L'Experience Paris boasts a fusion of traditional French favorites and innovative creations, ensuring there's something to tantalize every palate.

One standout dish we savored was the "3 Cheeses & Fig Kouign Amann" – a delightful combination of rich cheeses and sweet fig, perfectly complemented by the flaky pastry. Paired with a beautifully crafted latte adorned with latte art, it was the ideal start to my culinary adventure.

For the main course, I opted for the "Les Tartines Avocado Toast," a refreshing twist on a brunch classic. The creamy avocado spread atop crusty bread was a delightful burst of freshness, while the accompanying salad added a vibrant touch to the meal.

To quench my thirst, I enjoyed a crisp and refreshing Perrier – the perfect accompaniment to my meal, adding a touch of effervescence to the dining experience.

Throughout my visit, the service at L'Experience Paris was impeccable, with attentive staff who were passionate about ensuring every guest had a memorable experience.

While dining at L'Experience Paris may come with a premium price tag, the quality of the food, ambiance, and service make it well worth it. Whether you're a connoisseur of fine cuisine or simply looking to treat yourself to a taste of Parisian luxury, this restaurant delivers an experience that will leave you craving more.

Food was not bad but the service was so-so on a weekday. It's a bit pricey in general. The croissant was great.

My wife and I went for brunch on a Saturday. I ordered the croque-mister which was pretty good. Savory with a balanced taste. My wife took the egg Benedict with salmon. The salmon was very good and we like the amount of sauce in it. The English muffin in the Benedict however felt a little over done and hard to cut. Otherwise pretty darn good. Their side of potatoes were also lovely. We also tried the game and cheese croissant which was pretty good as well. Definitely recommended. I also took something, I forgot the name, but it was like a strawberry cheese cake. It was tasty as well and would definitely try again.
