This restaurant is amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Shelby our server was fantastic. Always made sure we had what we need. Had Carnitsas Salad and my fiance had the 50 50. Highly recommend to anyone in Dickyville. Travel filmmaker from Galena IL majesticmilestravel on youtube

This is a review from a Texan on this BBQ. I will say this BBQ is as close to Texas as I've gotten north of Texas. They have multiple flavors of sauces you can try on your brisket, pulled pork or whatever your heart desires. I asked if they had sweet tea our waitress Jennifer ( was awesome also) said yes. I was expecting some flavored tea, nope, real sweet tea. I had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, pork chop, cornbread, beans and creamy coleslaw. . I tried different sauces on the pork chop can't really pick a favorite because they were all good in their own way. The brisket and pulled pork in original sauce the ribs a dry rub. The cornbread was kind of a mix between yellow and jiffy. Not real sweet like jiffy or dry like yellow. I was on a weekend trip and live 3 hrs away. I would make the 3 hr trip just for dinner here. They have shirts, glasses and sauces to buy. So if given the chance DONT YOU DARE PASS UP BOB'S. You never forgive yourself. When you go by hope you get Jennifer she was great. Thanks BOB'S for a great dining experience.

Restaurant atmosphere was great. Server super friendly. The food was ok, ordered the brisket and the color on half of it was off and wasn’t all that flavor full, had the steak fries which could have been cooked longer and baked beans were delicious. The drinks were 10/10.

I had the fried cod sand special with Mac and cheese. Sandwich was hot and tasty, but a little greasy. I would still order again. Mac and cheese was creamy, and pasta was cooked perfectly. I then ordered the Sampler Platter to go. Choice of 3 meats and 2 sides. I chose ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. Ribs were fall off the bone tender, brisket was tender and cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful. You can order dry or with one of their 8 signature sauces.
I had the original sauce. Very tasty. Mandy, my server, was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision making. If you're looking for BBQ, this is a must stop.

My guest and I had an outstanding visit. The service was delightful, the specials (brisket sandwich at the time) was perfect, and the Ruben is a recommend menu item. Cheese curds were delicious! This Location is in a downtown feel location with street parking, and all the BBQ sauces were something to write home about. Service was awesome! Their root beer is good,and the mac n cheese is creamy. I ordered a soft cookie for dessert, and it was melt in your mouth.

All the sauces are fantastic. I kept coming back to the original, and it was my favorite. The ribs were good. Pulled pork was the highlight. The smoked sausage was perfectly smoked with a bit of spice. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was delightful and appeared carefully orchestrated. Baked beans and Mac-n-cheese were acceptable.
If I get back to this area, I'll be back for sure.

All of the staff were great, and the building and decor were on point. None of the food we had was bad, but overall we didn’t have any “this is the best I’ve ever tasted” experiences. We had the sampler, and our favorite protein was the 1/4 chicken (dark meat). Drinks were strong; be ready for that. The friendly and helpful staff and the speediness of the kitchen were what brought us to an overall 5-star rating at Bob’s. Had to get a shirt on our way out too. Lots of fun merch options (including take-home bottles of your favorite sauces).

The service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food, and the variety of sauces were great and unique. The burnt ends were very good and the pulled pork was tender, however, it didn't seem to have been smoked as it had no smoke flavor or color. The pulled pork we had may have come from the center of the pork butt, which could explain the lack of smoke flavor and color. The original sauce had a good smokey flavor and that helped make the pulled pork taste like it should. The fries and beans were also very good. We would eat here again of we are in the area.
