8.9.24 excellent hand pressed burgers; made and presented with care. Friendly staff. Upset that we didn’t get the fresh cut curly fries on our first visit as they ran out of potatoes on our second visit.

One of the best burgers anywhere in Alaska, and the homemade curly fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside -- cooked perfectly!! The restaurant was clean, and the server was extremely nice and efficient. I like that you can refill your own soda and water.
The food here is much better than their main competitor that is closer to the wharf. If you want a really good burger and excellent fries, come here, if you want so-so food, but a "cooler" hangout -- go to the competitor.

Burger was good, as were the chicken tenders and fries. They were out of the curly fries and the chicken salad. Note that when there are two prices on one item, it's because the first price is the sandwich alone and the second price is the sandwich with fries and a drink. This is not explained on the menu. You get your own drinks, table service, and condiments. Our waitress was nice. Coffee was only $1!

Went there for lunch. The atmosphere was very friendly. The young gentleman quickly gave us a table to sit at. I ordered the Teriyaki burger meal and my buddy ordered the Philly Cheese steak burger meal. Prices were pretty good for the amount of food you get. The burger was amazing!!! Grilled on a flattop to perfection! There was definitely nothing precooked or frozen about this burger. You could actually watch them make your burger! The fries were good too but the burger is where the money is at! Go here for burgers while in Valdez!

Came here for breakfast; we ordered French toast and an omelette. The service was super fast and we were in and out within 30 minutes. This is one of my favorite French toasts I've had over the years!! Fluffy, but not too thick, with an even coating and flavorful crust. I would definitely recommend it. The scrambled eggs on the side were also great. The omelette was decent, though definitely outshined by the toast. Their pancakes were also pretty good!

One thing to note: this is not the most apolitical establishment. There are a few decorative signs around that might make some people uncomfy.

Some of the juiciest burgers and the crunchiest French fries we’ve had in a long time! My kids also said the chicken tenders with ranch were some of the best they’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

There’s a reason this place consistently ranks at the top of the list for places to eat in Valdez — it’s that good. Hot food. Friendly and fast service. Tasty options. We sampled the Halibut and Chips (a nice surprise to find them battered in a Panko crust), a basic cheeseburger and the Southwest burger. All were delish. But topping them all were the curly fries, which we found completely addicting. Valdez isn’t ripe with great food options, but this one you will enjoy.
