The Tygart Flyer is amazing!!! They provide lunch and it is a super trip, you get to stop at the High Falls and get to get out and check them out up close and personally. It is a smooth ride and long, you definitely get to have a wonderful ride. The depot is a great place to visit and purchase items dealing with trains.

What an awesome spot. We drove by and I had to come back. Next time taking thei train. Staff super friendly and helpful. Very quaint place with alot of history. A must stop. Local shops near by. Easy in and out also has alot of information about local spots, restaurants, and things to do.

The welcome center itself is is wonderful. The staff there are wonderful. But the conductor was very rude. Just because i was sitting there watching the train the police department was there and told us that it was a private business, i thought that the train station was a public place. So why were we have to leave when the conductor said something.

We stumbled upon this cute old railway station built in 1908 during our fall drive . The place now mainly serves as a souvenir shop and welcome center. We had a nice time listening to live music performed by local artists while getting lost in the old world charm..

What a cute little spot. Downtown Elkins WV is great for all ages. Plenty to do and see. Go hiking on the trails, fishing the trout streams or tide on the historic train.
