One of the worst experiences I have ever had staying somewhere. Rented a dry cabin this winter over thanksgiving weekend. The prices were absolutely absurd. $105 base rate then $25 per person and $25 per dog. $530 for a two night stay in a dry cabin? Also, keep in mind that you are not allowed to cook in the rooms.
Besides the prices, the staff in the lodge are all extremely rude. The temps were -35 for several nights. We found our truck with the block heater unplugged. We were approached by the staff and were told we were not allowed to plug our vehicle into their plugs unless we asked. We asked and were only allowed to plug in for 2 hours..
A complete joke of a place. 10/10 would not recommend this place to anyone

This lodge is the best. The staff amazing, the rooms exactly as planned, the food and drink perfect. We would recommend more time than 1 night, everything you need to have a wonderful vacation on a lake in Alaska. The view amazing, the sunsets to die for, and owners are sooo accommodating. A warm, friendly, and outdoor adventure at your door step

This is a fishing/hunting lodge located in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful lake. The bar/restaurant has the woodsy atmosphere. Our room was basic, but warmly decorated. There are no TVs in the rooms, but they do provide free WiFi. Once we checked in we went to the bar for dinner and drinks. A complimentary breakfast was included with our room with 3 choices available. The owners are very friendly and welcomed us

When you travel to remote Alaska, you have to change your expectations on what you'll find. Lake Louise Lodge far exceeded our expectations! The lodge is beautiful and sits right on Lake Louise. The lake views are breathtaking from the lodge and our rooms! The food is good and homecooked. The staff is super friendly and fun to interact with. This is a true family run operation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We'll be back!

Stayed for a week and a half with my rowdy family, friends added to the mix over the weekend. Staff, location, other guests, everyone felt more like family to me than casual passersby. 15 out of 10, bonus points for lodge dogs that helped me miss my pets less. Great folks, good food, will book again.

After spending a night in a room filled with mosquitos (and they just kept coming due to a broken window), this was the next stop on our itinerary.||||Driving to Lake Louise Lodge, there was a fair amount of construction (be careful of the rough places in the road) and when we stopped waiting to be flagged through we could see the many mosquitos that inhabit the area. My wife and I looked at each other wondering if we were going to be anemic by the end of the week.||||Once at the lodge, we found that they really keep on top of mosquito control. I don't recall even one in our room. Hurrah - a peaceful nights sleep!||||At 6ft, the room itself was a bit vertically challenge in places (such as the bathroom), but was clean and comfortable. Nothing insurmountable, just have to be careful in the shower.||||Breakfasts (and dinners) were great! Over our stay I don't think there was much on the menu that one of my family did not try. They went out of their way to provide my teen daughter a drink to her liking.||||The staff really made the say. A big shout out to Mary, who went over and above on so many things. She is a real gem and any establishment who has her is very lucky. As well, I met her husband James (who runs Alaska's Healing Hearts for veterans on a nearby island on the lake). They both are some of the kindest folks you'll ever meet.||||The Lake Louise Lodge has many amenities to make the remoteness enjoyable. If you enjoy the outdoors and play at the lake, I highly recommend giving the lodge a stay. This was definitely one of the best places my family stayed on our month long Alaska 2022 trip.

Absolutely beautiful stay. My husband and I came to stay for three days to celebrate our friends birthday. We stayed at the lodge and it was perfect. The room was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast delicious, and the local lake residents were very friendly. The new owners are doing an amazing job keeping this beautiful place going!
