Stopped in right before closing because I wanted to check out their offerings (specifically the bakery!). They were all out of donuts from the morning but did have some yummy frosted sugar cookies! By far the best meat market within a 45 minute drive from Hartford Wi. I've been coming here for years now and I buy all of my meats at this location. I come here because I know what I am getting is real, not processed to the limit. They also have a great deli and treats to satisfy any sweet tooth after. Todd and his crew are a some of the most genuine people you will ever meet. This store is a staple of the community. Also their pre-prepped take home dishes are amazing!

I live out is state, but come back yearly for our family reunion. We have had MJ’s cater the last two. Top notch staff who were very helpful. The food is wonderful. The staff wouldn’t accept a tip. The store itself is clean and bright. Good bakery too.

Some of the best food to offer, and the nicest, most helpful staff, all in one place. Need a quick sandwich for lunch? They have you covered. Enough food to feed a party of 20? Yup, they have it too. Absolutely the best at everything they offer.

We have driven past M.J.'s countless times, back and forth to the Dells. Today we never had time for breakfast, and we're starving by Hartford. I said aloud, "I want something fresh"!
I didn't want fast food and then feeling gross for hours.
We we're both able to get a fresh, made to order sandwich.
Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, large variety of salads, sides, bakery items.

It was our 1st time there today. Very, very busy as, it was New Years Eve. They were so friendly and helpful and had a sense of humor as well. If they're this great on a busy day, then I can hardly wait to visit on a not so busy day. We just moved to Hartford 2yrs ago and I am so happy we stopped by today and, now we have a great Butcher Store!! Happy New Year to everyone!😊💟💟💕🥂🎉

Excellent meat friendly service. A bit more expensive than the grocery store but much better quality you can maybe get a decent roast for cheaper at the store but if you want a steak to grill that you don't have to do anything but salt and pepper to have a tender great flavor then MJs or sausage plus are the places to go for prime beef
