My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon, and we adored our time at the Cream Pitcher.

This B&B is located on the owners' family homestead, deep in rural Wisconsin (not too far of a drive from Amish country), which is absolutely gorgeous and rife with hiking trails, agriculture, local farmers' markets, waterways, and scenery galore.

The owners/hosts, Vern & Diane, were marvelous people who gave us any and all advice as to delicious local restaurants and attractions. They were also generally wonderful people who were genuinely interested in getting to know my husband and I. Diane makes a fantastic breakfast, of mostly locally grown foods, and will feed you like a good country hostess.

Our room was also spacious, clean, adorable, and the Jacuzzi made for wonderful relaxation after a day of exploring the area.

You can't beat the hospitality, setting, and price of this B&B, and I would jump at the chance to have a second stay here, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an escape to a peaceful, beautiful, friendly place.

We stumbled upon the Cream Pitcher B & B while trying to find a place close to the House on the Rock. It was our anniversary weekend and important we found a place we felt at home with. I couldn't ask for a better experience; in fact it surpassed our expectations! Diane and Vern have a lovely home that keeps your eyes dancing, trying to observe all the antique collections. It was very clean and each room was well prepared with thoughtful items. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious, with fresh ingredients from their property. Diane and Vern are gracious hosts who truly care for their guests. We will definitely plan another trip to the Cream Pitcher B & B!

My wife and I have visited well over 30 B&B's in Wisconsin over the past 20 years and have decided that this now ranks #1 on our list. Nestled among the forested rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin, it offers peace and tranquility. Vern and Diane go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean, well decorated and have all the amenities one needs (especially the chocolates). The breakfasts are served in several courses with only the freshest of ingredients and, of course, all made by Vern and Diane. The area offers beautiful scenery, a huge apple orchard (Oakwood) and a fantastic winery (Weggy) which has a great tasting bar. The crowning moment of our stay was when Vern called into the radio station in Richland Center to have our anniversary announced and a song played for us. We also really enjoyed playing games with Vern and Diane each night. Vern, keep working on your Rummikub skills!!

Absolutely wonderful! Country roads will truly take you 'home' to The Cream Pitcher where you'll be welcomed as a friend, not just a guest, by your hosts Diane and Vern. Bathed in country quiet, you'll sleep soundly and awake to the aroma of coffee and an unbelievably delicious breakfast! Take a stroll down the road, around the yard, into the woods .. you'll want to extend your stay. But, alas, if you must leave and return to the city and burbs, you'll be leaving relaxed and refreshed. The Cream Pitcher? .. definitely return worthy!

My husband and I stayed here for spring break in March. It was so quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed. Our room was beautifully decorated with a window seat overlooking the fields, and the living room had a gorgeous fireplace where we spent the day reading by the fire. The breakfasts were delicious! Vern and Diane were great hosts. We spent the evening playing board and card games. There are several little towns around the B&B with coffee shops, book stores, and antiques. The weather was a bit rainy when we visited so we were unable to hike the trails around the B&B, but the trails looked well groomed and pleasant. This is perfect for anyone who needs to escape to the country.

Cream Pitcher is out in a very quiet and private location. Diane greeted me with a big smile and nothing but kindness. The rooms were clean and each had something unique about them. I enjoyed the room which had a screened in porch off of it. Definitely recommend Cream Pitcher B and B to anyone visiting the area.

We have stayed here many times in the last 5-6 years-and it's wonderful every time. Vern and Diane are the best people-very down to earth and a lovely setting. If you are looking to just relax and do NOTHING-its great! Our favorite time to go is in late summer, the crops are all beautiful and to go to sleep with nothing but the chorus of crickets(in the millions) outside is priceless! Its outside of Richland Center and if you go there after it gets dark-it can be a bit tricky to find-but go early-Diane always has goodies waiting and she keeps track of what she has fed you for breakfast if you go back multiple times-so she makes sure to prepare something different each time=what a hostess!

We stayed one night at this delightful B & B - the owners welcomed us right into their home and we really felt like we were staying with family! The breakfast was amazing and a step up from home cooked - it felt gourmet! We also were treated to a rhubarb pie in the evening and it was delicious! We sat on the patio at sunset just to unwind and we really loved observing nature -all the bird activity, deer and racoon too - it was so quiet and peaceful! - One note I must make is that it was really remote and we had to drive about 20 minutes to get to town and pick up some wine - so shop before you get there so you wont have to trek out!
