Charming Lodge in the perfect location for your winter getaway! Close enough to Copper Peak, Black River Harbor, Ski Hills and Snowmobile Trails, but just off the main roads for a truly peaceful getaway! Have to plan to come back in the summer to appreciate all the area has to offer! Hosts are amazing and can accommodate anything promptly! Ample parking for trailers, and a brand new campground coming in 2025!!!

Went to the bar and lounge and had a great experience. Drinks were great and played some pool and darts.

As we were on the way out, we saw an indoor pickleball court which is awesome! We will be back

The owner was very responsive and accommodating!

We spent New Year’s Eve here, partying with friends and local neighbors. The bar was a blast, and our room was perfect-clean, comfy, and quiet. The lodge has everything for a North Woods adventure. They recently added an ice skating pond!! We will make this an annual event!

The bar downstairs was very nice and welcoming. The bartenders were very friendly and we will definitely be going back. They have plenty of activities such as billiards and darts. They also have a nice fireplace next to the bar!

Such a great family lodge. Brittney and her family are great, and getting greeted by their family dog was so sweet! We left something in the room and she called as soon as she found it, we are so grateful! We will be back for our annual fall trip and staying here for sure.

At the end of February, my wife and I got married at the lodge. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We rented out the lodge for 3 days for the event. The event space beautiful and it was convenient to have everything for the wedding all under one roof.
From when we initially started planning a year prior until we went home after the wedding, Brittany was absolutely fantastic to work with. She had great suggestions for any services we needed (DJ, photography, catering, etc). When we got there she was on top of everything and did far more to help coordinating than we ever expected. Justin was great and helped with anything we needed as well, even when the request was a little odd.
The rooms and accommodations were great and made all our friends and family feel at home. It made the whole thing feel almost like a family reunion. Everyone enjoyed the going out and seeing the local waterfalls as well.
I can’t recommend Black River Lodge enough. Whether it’s for a wedding, or just to stay for a few nights.

Great place to stay near lots of hikes. Nice family owned business and very friendly dog named Pippin! A little bit outdated rooms but worked just fine. They have a small “general store” with smores materials and small snacks and candies. Owners are so very nice and will help you all the time. Enjoyed our stay here at North ironwood Cares!
