This is the PERFECT spot for an Alaskan fly fishing adventure. The cabins are charming, well appointed, and quite comfortable. The food is amazingly good. The staff is friendly and will accommodate special requests - like doing laundry or firing up the sauna on a rainy day (who ever heard of a remote lodge with laundry and a a sauna!). The guides are experienced and helpful. But the best part may be the incredible location for outstanding world class fishing - there is simply no place better.

Went with my brother, dad, uncle. Had a blast. Amazing guides, great food, nice accommodations. We were all novice fisherman (1 person had never fished), and caught enormous fish, saw large bears. Trip of a lifetime. A must do bucket list.

They fly you out to an incredible place to fish every day. The guides and knowledgeable, kind and patient and help you become a better fisherman by the end of the trip. Book it, you won't regret it.

Holly and Nate put their heart and soul into this place. Entire staff is absolutely incredible. Chef will provide off the chart meals and his crew is attentive and caring. The guides are not only incredibly skilled, but also good people. We definitely had our favorites (chip and sky) but their is no bad draw as they all roll up to the master guide who is legendary, scott. ||Accommodations are also great. Don’t worry about those critical reviews about internet, as they massively upgraded it. ||Thank you to entire staff for making us feel like family. Truly a special place on many levels.

This was our second trip to Royal Wolf Lodge. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service, the food the fishing and especially the people at Royal Wolf Lodge are the best! The new managers, Nate and Holly were friendly, accommodating and professional. They did everything they could to make sure our trip was everything we hoped it could be. The fishing guides are the most professional and most fun guides I’ve ever fished with, and I have fished all over the western United States. It’s an expensive lodge, but to us it was worth every penny. We’re going back again next summer, and we can hardly wait!

Chris and Linda Branham have created an experience that satisfies on each and every level, with outstanding attention to all the little details. ||||Their staff of talented and experienced guides, pilots, chefs, and housekeepers are the best in the business. Everyone who works at the lodge is 100% focused on providing a unique, first-class, and very special experience.||||The Branham's knowledge of the area provides access to world-class native, wild trout, dolly varden, arctic char, grayling, pike and other varieties of fish, but also to see and experience bald eagles, moose, bear, and all the wide variety of wildlife in Alaska.||||I could go on at length about the fishing experience at this lodge. The knowledge that each and every guide has of each nook and cranny of all of the beautiful rivers and lakes -- they know where the big ones are, how to fish to them, and are keenly focused on preserving the quality of the native fish populations. ||||Great food, better people, and the ultimate chocolate chip cookies to boot.||||Whether you are a very experienced angler, or a novice, you will have a fantastic time.

I had a fantastic trip to Royal Wolf last week. Every single staff member went above and beyond and truly seemed to care. The staff members really seem to love their job which speaks volumes of the owners Linda and Chris.||The lodge is in the best possible location and truly allowed me to relax and enjoy my surroundings. The excellent fishing just seemed like a bonus.||I can’t recommend this lodge enough.
